Dear Insane Children,

I don't know if you know this (I think many of you do) but the Alice series is extremely cathartic for me. Because, as a child, I was abused in many ways - psychological, physical, and sexual. And by a wide variety of people - family members, caretakers, and strangers.

Hysteria Dress Redesign - Crowd Design!

Dear Insane Children, 

This image - is from Omri - and is an attempt at a redesign of the Hysteria Dress for Alice: Asylum.

Omri felt there were certain elements "lacking" in the design seen in Alice: Madness Returns.

I like this new version but I told Omri we really need fan input on this sort of thing so... let us know in the comments what you think!

Leeloo McGee - The Littlest Insane Child

Dear Insane Children, 

Say hello to your newest co-inmate in the Asylum!

张玲珑 - (Leeloo McGee) arrived at 10PM Beijing Time on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022!

She was 3.82kg and 51cm at birth. And arrived after an extremely quick labor/delivery of ~2 hours!

We've been a little preoccupied (as you might imagine) since her arrival. And just now starting to get back into the regular work groove. That means catching up on emails, clearing out old creative tasks, etc...

Sacrificial Journey to Eternal Life

Dear Insane Children,

Sometimes the only way we get to new and interesting places is through a journey in which we must sacrifice a great amount. In the modern world, that might mean investing the time and money to fly halfway around the world. Or sailing for a week to a remote island. Or hiking for days to a secluded mountaintop. But what if you lived on the featureless plains and Kansas and wanted to get somewhere REALLY interesting?

OZ: Adventures (Character Design: Dorothy)

Dear Insane Children, 

The story I'm writing for Oz: Adventures features an ensemble cast. Sorta like the TV show "Game of Thrones" - there's not (at least initially) a "main" character. There are many characters each with their own unique backstories. And over time, we'll explore each of them against the backdrop of challenges provided by the Land of Oz.

The Black Book

Omri delivered the final render of "The Black Book" illustration. And it's beautiful! In this scene, we see Alice confronted with the written record of Bumby and Radcliffe's nefarious business. All those children - kidnapped, brainwashed, and sold like cattle. Someone needs a good revenge killing!
