Minor Feature Poll for 2.7

Hi folks! Looking to get feedback on a minor feature to add to 2.7.  Features that will be already included are a guardhouse, and faction headquarters. 

  • Stable: the thing with horses. Descriptions, and prices for renting or buying horses. Horse generation is already in the generator.

Planned Rewards Change

Hi people! Big bump in the Patreon count thanks to a Reddit post getting to the front page- welcome!

2.6.1 has been released

This is just minor bug fixes, and also adds Sentry error tracking, which should hopefully let us diagnose some of the weirder problems that people are having- if you have been having errors, now is a great time to go and try it again, so it's logged in our system. Thanks!

2.4.1 "Hansel Eats Some Bugs" has been released

Nothing too major- just a bug fix of many of the issues addressed when a post went viral on Reddit, resulting in a huge uptick of traffic. Also includes an overhaul on the breadcrumb system (and a restructuring of the town.buildings object into an array behind the scenes)

How do you use Eigengrau's Generator?

I was thinking about how I should improve the generator recently, and realised that it might be useful to share how I use the generator, and also hear how other people are using it.

Adding URL seeds!

So this has been a really, really long time coming, but I've finally added URL seeds, which should massively improve the debugging process- all of a sudden, all that's needed for us to all identify an issue is the URL, which will vastly reduce the amount of work that people reporting bugs need to do!

Indefinite articles!

Yes, at long last, the irritating nut of indefinite articles (a, an) has been cracked! This is all due to the wonderful Chapel's plugin, which seems to have been almost custom-designed exactly for my uses- can't thank Chapel enough for it. 

This will be shipped as part of the 2.3.1 update which will go out to the public in the not-too-distant future.

Hi all! Sorry for the radio silence. CoVid-19 has seen my PhD application bumped back, so I'm once again gainfully unemployed, this time for a more substantial period of time.

Version 2.2 has been released!

Would you be interested in system-agnostic one-shots?

Hi guys, 

Just want to get a feel for the room of whether there's any interest in me adding in one-shots. An example of what I'm talking about is in the  Toolbox, called "The Poisoned Potioner", which is a short murder mystery without any combat. Is this a feature that you think would be helpful to the generator? It's decidedly not in the 'scope' of the generator, but I feel like it's also something that some people might find useful.
