I was sitting in the mid-$400's yesterday and now I'm down to $400 even though I haven't lost any patrons. I can only presume some people are not getting properly charged.
I cannot stress this enough; make sure your payment goes through. Patreon posted an update on the payment snafu saying that they'll send out messages to people whose payments are declined, but I just wanted to get the word out.
