This is pretty much an absurd number of "actors" to put on one page for a comic, it demands a lot of Psu. Plus there are the robots just standing around... normally the way around this is to do a bunch of close-ups and things, so that not every panel involves re-drawing every character. But of course, Psu doesn't always like to take the easy way out.

The placeholder dialogue for this page was actually pretty funny, but it would give away the gag kind of early. Panel 3 is also going to have to be changed up a bit because of the nature of the joke. As you can tell, there are figures in there that we were still deciding on, which is why they look much less firmly-drawn than everybody else.

Gunwild: This is based on the poster of a movie Psu and I watched and really didn't like, Casino Royale. The orignal one. From the 60s. Which has nothing to do with the book or regular James Bond movies.

Psu: I drew that in a few minutes but I believe at the time I was really really itching for a break. So we figured a sketch update like this would suffice. I feel that it's so clearly a sketch helps it get away with not being that cleanly drawn. On the plus side, it's pretty cute. And nearly 100% canon.

This pinup is shaping up to be what the kids, with their fiction and such, call one of them "AU" settings, or "Elseworlds" or what-have-you... you know the type. A different kinda world, where for whatever reason everything is all cave-people or feudal Japan or funny animals.
Or maybe it's just our characters pulling a heist on a world based on a book about gangsters like in "A Piece of the Action." Who knows?
