I went a little insane with the details and knickknacks in this one, but how could I resist with such a cool gang? It was a fun challenge to think of the sort of decor an animal might use (the way we use animal imagery for our human decorating!) so settled on bugs and prehistoric carnivores and dinosaurs. And of course, the bones of those whom made the mistake of crossing them.
(included a blank kitchen cause I like this one so much)

This week was slowed down by distracting construction and power outs, and a day of not feeling well, but also because I had a little birthday gift planned~

They were messing with the power in my place yesterday (and a little this morning) so got a wee bit behind, but catching up now!
I can see Riz and San spending lots of time cooking, especially if Riz got the job of feeding the entire clinic. It's clearly one of Riz's favorite things, and San will take any chance to play with knives and fire (although Riz doesn't let him use the stove/oven unsupervised at the moment lol)
And we're off~ The first kitchen with two pairing alts : D
I'm gonna do my best to focus and get all 5 I have planned completed, and if there is time, each kitchen will have a little nsfw alt too (now that I have the backgrounds ready to go) But ideally these could be posters, so trying to keep at least one sfw version!
I found myself a little uninspired for the 18+ stuff this week, as tragically unusual as that is. Thankfully with a little focus, ideas came flooding back~

Riz gets a tattoo with his prison number so he matches San. San knows Riz is more than a prisoner, so it helps him realize he's more than livestock ; u ;
A toss back to season one after a most exciting, improv performance~ Louis knows how to balance his carnivore kinks. (lol I totally made up that chair but maybe this is why it's no longer around XD)

A little background warm up for the exclusives I wanna do this month, featuring two of my fav boys who I don't draw enough ; u ;
(the little horny nubs I draw on the bottom of some herbivore feet is all that remains of their hooves~ I know evolution doesn't work that smoothly in reverse, but it seems weird to ignore hooves completely XD )

Some animal sketches to warm up, a few little tips I use for making animals look unique and also true to their species, and then a couple OCs for patrons!
when I said I was going to do some casual comics, this isn't quite what I was picturing + u +;
(I cant even unwind with TV without being inspired lol)
This piece has a little more action than some of the more recent devours, but its still romantic~ The gory implications of these piece are countered with zero blood and the organic flora imagery, but looking past the metaphors can still make it unsettling.
Beastars always make me ponder the 'what if's: What if Riz had drank a little of Pina's blood for a power boost? What if Louis hadn't been able to make it to Legosi? The alternate timelines that could exist by removing a single domin...
I will likely color this later, but I'm looking to improve cleaning up my sketches/ lineart too. It's difficult to improve that when I crutch most of it with flat coloring.

I plan to make little masterposts with a handful of thank you sketches I finish every few days, but here's the first one!
Great suggestion Shiggi~ Melon is obsessed with his pure white wool, and his horns, and his predation incident with Riz! It would be cute if Pina had court-appointed therapy with him after the New Years fight.

There won't be any huge serious comics for November, just little ones. This comic has really given back already in terms of seeing where I have improved, and noticing when i still need work. I have some "lesson" projects for November that I think will be super exciting :D
