An update on Angelo from last weekend's livestream! I worked a bunch of days right after the stream and just started to unwind today lol... I'm not well suited for working a week in a row after just being sick. But I made it! And I'm excited to play art catch up tomorrow and this weekend!
** Now with the full alts~ We added an extra toy for fun since the original idea wasn't working so well...
These pics are going to end up pretty small, so I'm not sure how much detail I'll be able to fit, so here's a WIP of the high resolution stuff before we downsize for the final images. (I might have a another update later but my tablet pen needs a few hours of recharging lol...)
** Riz and San are finished~ Pina is taking a little longer, but I think I am /finally/ happy with Bill's body. One day shoulders and ball-socket joints won't curse me so...
It may have been simmering dormant, but my Beastars sci-fi Orville inspired idea never went away. A big reason I want to work on my core skills is to give this comic idea the love it deserves. That means getting good at all the alien landscapes and techno-interiors too.
The ship itself is like its own character. The layout is so important, and it will be fun to use my feng shui ideas to make it feel peaceful but commanding. It will be a fun journey bringing this ship together into prop...
Phew, this angle is a challenge, so it's taking a little bit of searching to get the anatomy right. But I think it's coming together now~ Once I get all the lineart a little more cleaned up, I should be able to fix the foreshortening issues~
** now with rendering and some effects~ I think another study I need to add to the list is different types of lighting~ but I love these dark cozy scenes~
I have to admit... I really like this pose. (except for that backwards hand lol I wasn't thinking) but anatomy I usually struggle with same out nicely, and I didn't need reference for the pose + u +
* I feel like Angelo's implied wang should be a little lower, but maybe Sin is pampering his entire groin area lol
Finally getting close to finishing these four boys~ The banner has needed updating for awhile. While I am annoyed I wasn't moving as fast, maybe slowing down and building my style was good for me. Drawing the wrong stuff over and over can teach me bad habits... hopefully I've rearranged some of those lol.
** Updated with rendering~ Bina are pretty much done, but RizSan need their tattoos~ Then a little more highlighting and we should be ready for a new banner~
Using slightly old art > u > but it is what I plan to work on tomorrow~ We'll finish inking Riz and San, then lay down some flat colors~ After that, I'm gonna start planning out a couple of commissions. We have a plan! The week was a little distracting, but I should be able to organize my thoughts and plans by the time we go live tomorrow~

Lol oops... using the same pic from last week as a preview, but I like the work I've done on it at least~ I think getting into some actual original pics this weekend will be a good test for all the lifedrawing I've been doing. I might need a few little touch ups with practice, but I think it's time to dive into the my own art a little more again.

I'm finally redoing some Patreon banner and tier art~ I still need some anatomy studies, but we'll do a little of that this weekend. Those boy hips still confuddle my brain but we're doing to get past that eventually lol
** another update~ I'm slowly cleaning this one up, but I'm pretty happy with it now~ Once I get Riz and San to an equally nice state, I'll be able to finish them both for the eventual new banner~
So many faces and I still have so many references to work through~ I am gonna be stubborn this week and really take back some art days to do more life drawing. My art just feels so much more stable and satisfying when it has that realness to it. It is a bit of homework in the beginning, but I think it will pay off once I hit more of my own ideas. I still need some body life drawing, but I'm feeling the progress~

Just a little more anatomy studies~ I have a few more to add from Saturday, but I feel way more confident about merging bodies together now. One thing I do need some practice on is animal heads, so we'll see how many art days I can secure this week~ (I hope to secure some time off soon~)

I have more characters I wanna add to this, but we'll start with two fluffy boys~ Still very rough, but I'm gonna try and push myself with some difficult positions (or at least difficult for me lol)
** PS - in case anyone missed it, I won't be streaming tomorrow like normal. I did a favor for work since it's a holiday, but I've put in some good karma so I shouldn't need to head in again for awhile. I'll work on getting a twice-a-week schedule going to start making up for the lost time ...
A lovely commission for one of my patrons~ It was a delight to work on, and I'm glad I got into an efficient rhythm. Bina has a way of doing that to me~

** PS I won't be able to livestream this weekend :( I am going to do the boss a favour and come in for the holiday Saturday. I was hoping to livestream on Saturday, but my week is pretty tight and I don't know how well that will work for everyone's schedule.
I will be back streaming next Saturday for sure, and hopefully the week following I'll be able to stream twice~

I wasn't happy with my last WIP so I started the pose from scratch. I think it's a lot more stable than before, and I should be able to finalize it either tomorrow or during Saturday's stream :) For now, we get some details on all three boys~
One day I will draw these cute ladies being all sexy, but until then, I'm all for them being super girlie with each other~
