A BepInEx mod for Koikatsu Sunshine (KKS) that allows you to play both the main game and studio in VR. The difference from the official VR modules is that you have access to the full game/studio, while the official modules have limited features and spotty mod support.
Currently only the standing (aka room-scale) mode is supported. It has been tested working on Rift, Rift S, Quest 2, Index and Vive. Most other headsets that support SteamVR should work.

Additionally, I attached a new build of the custom launcher. Now when you click "Start VR" you will be able to start KKS_VR (so there's no need to create shortcuts). To install just replace your current launcher in the game directory.
Tip: Once in VR, hold the tool change button on your controller to see the keybinds.

An unofficial patch for Koikatsu Sunshine with fan-made English translations and essential mods. It will allow you to load all character cards and scenes and give you countless content creation and gameplay improvements while still keeping the original, uncluttered feel of the game. All content is tested and fixed (or removed) as needed before each update, providing a stable platform for further modding. HF Patch can also repair many common issues, try it if you have issues.
Koikatsu can be split into two parts: character and scene creation tools (character maker and Studio), and an adventure game with story mode (it can use your custom characters, but not scenes). You can see preview videos of the game and some of the mods here.
HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately. You can buy the Japanese version on DMM (English/Steam release not announced yet). You can watch a guide on how to buy and install games from DMM here.
The base game (Koikatsu Sunshine), and by extension this patch are not suitable for minors. If you are under 18 years old you can not use this patch. The base game and this patch contain only characters of age 18 or higher. The creator of this patch is not responsible for creations of its users and prohibits any unlawful use of this software.

This download contains the entire HF Patch and can be used offline. You can use qBittorrent or a similar torrent client to open the magnet link.

Read before installing

- If you have problems with installing the patch, check the solutions to common issues and the rest of the readme.
- The EX expansion is entirely optional and can be skipped. It adds 4 new personalities with new type of events unique to them (old characters can't use these events). You can buy the expansion here (and here's a guide).
- If you need any further help check the wiki first, and if that doesn't help then ask in the #help channel of the Koikatsu Discord server. The #help channel is the fastest way to get help, you can even search it for your issue to see if someone already answered it. There are also chat and card sharing channels on the server!
- To keep the download size reasonable, some rarely used and very old content mods or studio mods might not be included. If you have trouble loading characters or scenes, you can download the missing mods by clicking on the Update button in the game's launcher.

Koikatsu Sunshine FAQs
- Q: Where can I get it?
A: You can buy it on DMM. In the future it should appear in more places (Steam release is probably coming spring next year). Watch the DMM buy/download/install guide here. - Q: How do I install it?

Basic plugins ported to full version of Koikatsu Sunshine
You need BepInEx 5.4.15 for most of these to work. Make sure you download the KKS versions of the plugins, not KK. If you want to play vanilla then you only need IllusionFixes.
Collection of latest English translations
This translation package contains all latest translations that work in KKS. A lot of the translations were carried over from the trial and from KK. Big thanks to SpockBauru and GeBo for their work on translating the game!
I translated the rest (roughly 60%) through deepl and cleaned it up so main game is properly playable. Note that there are still some missing translations that will be translated on your end because the game inserts topic or character names into some lines - this will be fixed once a proper translation is done.
How to install the translations
- Install at least BepInEx 5.4.15, AutoTranslator 4.18.1 and optionally the plugins linked above.
- Download the translation pack attached to this post.
- Extract the pack directly in your game directory, overwrite files when asked (Use 7zip to extract the file).
For future translation updates check the releases page on the KKS-Translation repository.
If you wish to help translate the game, check the Koikatsu Discord #lingual-studies channel. For small changes you can just edit files on github and submit PRs, but for larger changes it's better to ask first to coordinate.

Hello there!
It has been a while, but at last we're getting a new game from Illusion! It's a sequel to Koikatsu - it's a separate game, not an expansion. It's confirmed that KK cards can be imported to KKS, but not the other way around. You can learn more about the game on the official website here.
If you want to preorder the game, you can do it on DMM. For now it's not available for international users at other online stores and there is no information about a Steam release (A Steam release will most likely come sometime next year, but no one really knows).
I didn't post much on my patreon page recently because there was nothing interesting going on, but that will change with KKS (expect a lot of updates). I'll focus on KKS for a while, and I'll hopefully be able to put out an HF Patch for it within a week or so.

I've been quiet for some time, here's why. These are the plugins I ported so far, this should cover most of what's needed. I'll port the rest of the plugins after the full game releases, because the game is far from finished and some of the plugins are likely to break by the time it's done.
I won't be releasing HF Patches for the trial since there isn't much to do in it - it's only the character maker and the cards can't be used in other games. Of course I will start releasing KKS HF Patches after the full game is released. In the meantime you can find trial packs with all recent plugins in sunshine-mod-sharing channel on the discord server.
In case any of you didn't already know: Illusion released a trial version of their upcoming new game "Koikatsu Sunshine". It's a new, separate game, not an expansion, and it should be released on 2021/8/27 (so in 2.5 months). It's basically an upgraded version of KK with a completely new story mode.

Hi there. Some things have been happening recently, here's a quick rundown to keep you up to date:
- Koikatsu Party - After Party (KKP AP) was released on Steam. After Party is a translated version of the Japanese Summer Personality DLC and AfterSchool DLC (2 in 1). It's functionally the same as the Japanese DLC, but it's much cheaper and easier to install. If you already have the Japanese DLC, you don't need this. The latest KK HF Patch supports KKP AP without issues, just reinstall it after getting the DLC.
- New KK HF Patch is in the works and should be released in a few days. Other than latest updates, it will have improvements to the translations and to the patch itself. Sideloader Modpack is getting a big update which will be included as well, so you don't have to update through KKManager.
- Koikatsu Sunshine (KKS) trial has been released. So far it looks like a side story of KK. From technical standpoint, it's an improved version of KK. So far it looks like most plugins and mods will be easy to port from KK to KKS. KK cards can be used in KKS but not the other way around (for now).
- I'm currently focusing on porting plugins to KKS, there should be some releases soon. I will still support KK even after KKS comes out in full, so don't worry about that.

At last, there are new animated uncensors for Koi. They are for the most part normal UncensorSelector uncensors, so you can choose whichever one you like the most.
This is a result of a joint commission from me and STN.
You can get the new uncensors here. This mod is included in KK HF Patch v3.9 and newer, so if you have the patch you don't have to install it.
The new uncensors are fully supported in Studio (they can be animated easily with NodesConstraints), you need this plugin.
While you're here, consider giving Animal42069 some support. He makes some very good plugins for AI and HS2 that you most likely used if you played these games.
Meanwhile, there's also ongoing work on creating new H animations here that you might want to check out.

Plugin that adds a custom side quest and some new gameplay features to Koikatu and Koikatsu Sunshine story mode. The side quest consists of multiple events with different tasks to do. New touch icons are added when talking to heroines in the top right corner as you progress the side quest.
This plugin is inspired by the KK_PantyRobber plugin by picolet21. He laid the groundwork for custom ADV scenes which made this plugin possible, so big kudos to him.

This is a greatly improved machine translation of the parts of AI-Syoujyo and HoneySelect2 that aren't yet manually translated. While these translations are not as good as hand-made translations and still have some very obvious issues, they are much better quality than the usual online translations. As a bonus these translations are entirely local, so no internet access is required.
AI already has mostly complete translations so the change likely won't be too noticeable, but HS2 should see be a noticeable bump in quality.

How to use?
- Make sure you have the latest translations available for your game. The easiest way is to use HF Patch or get BR. Versions of HF and BR newer than 12/04/2021 should already have these translations included.
- Download the version for your game (AI is AI Shoujo, HS2 is HoneySelect2).
- Extract the archive into your game directory (the folders inside the zip should line up with what you have in your game). Get 7zip if you can't open the archive.
- To see updated translations you might need to remove your "BepInEx\Translation\en\Text\_AutoGeneratedTranslations.txt" file to clear the translation cache.

I'm slowly getting out of my backlog of things to do, and I've been wondering what everyone wants to see next, so here's a poll!
- Entries are in no particular order, please pick whatever you personally would like to see.
- Updates to current HF Patches and fixes to plugin bugs will continue regardless of what wins.
- Please think of this poll as a suggestion, I will keep the results in mind when planning future projects, but I can't guarantee I'll follow it fully.
PS: As a side note, new custom H animations for KK are starting to come out here (there might still be some issues because it's all new, but it will only get better). A new animated uncensor system is being worked on as well, and will hopefully enter beta testing by the end of the month.

A plugin for Koikatu and Koikatsu Sunshine that lets you give characters lewd crests in character maker and in story mode. Many crests have actual gameplay effects, while others are only for flavor. All crests can be used in character maker and studio. There are 32 different crests at the moment.
Inspired by the original KK_LewdCrest plugin by picolet21. Crests were drawn and described by novaksus.

You can use the HF Patch Automatic Downloader app to automatically get the correct version of the patch for your game.
Full patch v1.8 (14GB, most people should use this)

Which version should I get?
Full patch contains everything, while light patch only contains patches and plugins but no item mods. If you are a new user or unsure, you should get the full patch.
If you only want to play the main game with the default characters, you can get the light patch to save space, BUT if you want to download custom character cards or scenes in the future you will need to come back and get the full patch. DO NOT use KKManager to update mods until you install the full patch.
If you recently updated mods with KKManager, you can probably get the light patch (light patch does not contain Sideloader Modpacks). If KKManager shows more than 5GB of updates, downloading the full patch will be faster than updating with KKManager + downloading the light patch.

How to download and install the patch

Download all parts to the same directory. You can mix parts from different sources, but the file names need to stay the same. You can use any directory other than the game directory.
Start the included .exe file. A UAC prompt should appear. When you click Yes the patch installer will start.
Follow instructions in the installation wizard (for most users all you need to do is keep pressing Next).
If the installation location was not automatically detected or is wrong, you will have to show the patch where your game is installed. If you bought the game on Steam, go to your steam library > properties of the game > view local files to find where the game is installed.
At the start of installation the patch will verify if all of the downloaded parts are in order. This can take a couple of minutes to complete. If any parts are missing or corrupted, the patch will show an error message detailing which part you should redownload. If that happens: close the patch, download the bad file again (try using a different download link and/or web browser) and retry installing the patch.
After the patch installation finishes you can remove the downloaded patch files. That being said, I suggest keeping them in case your game breaks for any reason and you need to install the patch again to fix it.
If you have issues downloading mod updates through KKManager, try the patron-only update server available here (don't use it if normal servers work fine since it might end up slower).
What to do in case of download issues
If the download is very slow or fails to start, try a different download link and/or a different web browser. If all links are slow test your connection speed. If you have a VPN try changing the server or turning it off. If all fails you might have better luck with the torrent download.
Make sure you download ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have their original names. You need ALL parts for the patch to install properly.
If you see any messages about corrupted files you'll have to re-download the offending part (or all of the parts). Try using a different download source and/or a different web browser.
If the installer asks you for another disc, it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.
Make sure that your antivirus is not flagging and removing the .exe file.
What to do in case of installation issues
If you get a "This patch is inside of the game directory" or "Path too long" error, move the patch files to a folder like "D:\HFP\" and try again.
If you get a "Different game is detected" error, make sure this is the correct patch for your game. KKS in the title means that this patch is for Koikatsu Sunshine (doesn't work on Koikatu and Koikatsu Party).
If after installing the patch you have issues running the game, restart your PC and try to install the patch again with default settings. Try moving the game to a simple folder like "D:\Games\EC".
If after installing the patch Studio hangs when loading, start KKManager (it's in a folder in game directory) and click "Look for updates" at the top, then tell it to update the Studio modpack.
Make sure you downloaded ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have the same name. You need ALL parts for the patch to work. If the installer asks you for another disc it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.
If your antivirus is flagging the .exe file make sure that you've downloaded the patch by following links in this post. If you are sure the download came from the right place, it's most likely a false positive (it's a common issue with non-signed application installers).

If the game locks up on a white screen, try setting a different female uncensor. Press F1 to open plugin settings (only visible on desktop, not in VR) and look for uncensor settings. Restart the game after changing to one of the simple uncensors.
Before installing the patch it's best to verify local files on Steam to make sure the game is fully up to date and not corrupted. To do so, find the game in the library, then go to Properties > Local files > Verify. If you have issues, uninstall the
If the patch asks for a disk or shows a verification error after starting the install - Patch files are corrupted or missing, redownload the patch from a different mirror and/or with a different web browser.
If you are having issues starting the game or the game seems to softlock (can't progress, there are no "keep looking at" points or the point doesn't work) - Browse the game files and remove everything other than the UserData\save folder, then verify game files on steam, and finally reinstall the latest VRK HF Patch.
If the patched game stops working after an update, simply install the patch again.
If the default install path of the patch doesn't work (if for example you moved your Steam library to a different folder), you have to point the patch to where the game is installed. If you are not sure where to look: Find the game in the library, then go to Properties > Local files > Browse and point the patch to the folder than opens (it should have VR Kanojo.exe in it).
Press F1 for plugin settings (only visible on desktop, not in HMD), hover over setting names to see their descriptions.
This patch makes it possible to play the game without a VR headset, but expect it to be a janky experience (camera doesn't center and you can't touch, but it should be possible to finish the game). Playing with an HMD is a much better experience. You still need to have SteamVR for the game to run.

A collection of BepInEx plugins and uncensors for VRKanojo.
VRK_PlayWithoutVR
This plugin lets you play the game with mouse and keyboard if there is no HMD connected. You still need SteamVR to be installed, but you don't need a VR set.
To use this plugin, simply disconnect and VR headsets and start the game. You should see a list of controls in the top left corner.
Expect it to be janky, playing with an HMD is always going to be a much better experience.
VRK_UncensorLoader
This is a simple uncensor loader that makes it possible to easily swap uncensors from plugin settings (press F1 if you have ConfigManager, or check `BepInEx\config` after running the game once). It might be necessary to reload the game for the uncensor to change (usually it's enough for the scene to change).
Uncensors need to be converted for use with this plugin. Check below for a pack of converted uncensors (including my male uncensor, check plugin settings to see who made each of the uncensors).
No game files are ever replaced so it's easy to disable and switch uncensors, and verifying local files doesn't remove the uncensor.
How to install
- Make sure your game is updated and has at least BepInEx v5.4.4 x64 installed and properly configured (change entry point Type to MonoBehaviour). To use these plugins properly I recommend to also install MessageCenter and ConfigurationManager.
- Download the latest releases and uncensor pack below.
- Extract contents of the release archive directly into your game's directory.
- Start the game and see if there are any errors on screen.

An unofficial patch for HS2 that installs the latest fan-made English translations and essential mods. It also fixes many common issues with the game.
It will allow you to load all character cards and scenes and give you countless content creation and gameplay improvements while still keeping the original, uncluttered feel of the game. All content is tested and fixed (or removed) as needed before each update, providing a stable platform for further modding.
Honey Select 2 can be split into two parts: character and scene creation tools (character maker and Studio), and a simple "pick and play" game (it can use your custom characters, but not scenes).
HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately. Check this guide on how to download and install from DMM. This version of the patch doesn't support the future Steam release of the game, check for a new version of this patch if you have it.
The base game (Honey Select 2), and by extension this patch are not suitable for minors. If you are under 18 years old you can not use this patch. The base game and this patch contain only characters of age 18 or higher. The creator of this patch is not responsible for creations of its users and prohibits any unlawful use of this software.

To keep the download size reasonable, some of the less used mods are not included (mostly studio-only mods). To download them you can use the KKManager mod updater - run it at the end of HF Patch or from the game's launcher.

- If you get a "This patch is inside of the game directory" or "Path too long" error, move the patch files to a folder like "D:\HFP\" and try again.
- If you get a "Different game is detected" error, make sure this is the correct patch for your game. HS2 in the title means that this patch is for HoneySelect2.
- If after installing the patch you have issues running the game, restart your PC and try to install the patch again with default settings.
- If after installing the patch Studio hangs when loading, start KKManager (it's in a folder in game directory) and click "Look for updates" at the top, then tell it to update the Studio modpack.
- If you have trouble downloading by using the magnet link, try updating your torrent client or use the latest qBittorrent (it's known to work well).
- Make sure you downloaded ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have the same name. You need ALL parts for the patch to work. If the installer asks you for another disc it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.

How to extract and install

- Download all parts to the same directory. You can mix parts from different sources, but the file names need to stay the same. You can use any directory other than the game directory.
- Start the included .exe file. At the start it will verify if all of the downloaded files are in order. This can take a couple of minutes to complete.
- Click the extract and run button. This will extract the actual patch install files. Usually it's fine to leave the default directory (a new folder will be created for the extracted patch files). This can take a couple of minutes to complete.
- Eventually a UAC prompt should appear. When you click Yes the patch will start installing. When asked for the installation location point it to where your game is installed. If you bought the game on Steam, go to your steam library > properties of the game > view local files to find where the game is installed.
- You can remove the downloaded and extracted installation files now if you want.
If you have issues downloading mod updates through KKManager, try the patron-only update server available here (don't use it if normal servers work fine since it might end up slower).

A collection of BepInEx plugins for Illusion games that skip game startup screens or let you directly start character maker with a special game shortcut. Currently supports HoneySelect, PlayHome, Koikatu/Koikatsu, AI-Syoujyo/AI-Shoujo and HoneySelect2.
- Autostart (for HS, PH, KK, AI and HS2) - Adds support for commandline arguments to start certain modes automatically during startup (mostly character maker, in some games the startup is much faster than normal). This feature was originally a part of TitleShortcuts here.
- IntroBegone (for KK and KKS) - Speeds up game startup by skipping the intro screen (can be turned off in settings).
- PH_MakerButton - Adds a "Character maker" button to main menu in PlayHome.

How to use

How to create a shortcut to launch character maker directly
- Create a shortcut to main game .exe file (for example Koikatu.exe).
- Go to properties of the shortcut.
- Add one of the supported commands from below at the end of the "Target" field (for example "D:\Games\KK\Koikatu.exe" -femalemaker).
- -maker and -femalemaker - Start female character maker.
- -malemaker - Start male character maker (if the game has one).

A plugin for studio in many Illusion games that adds extra move gizmo in bottom right corner. It can be turned on and off with a new button on the left edge of the screen.
Currently supports PH, KK, AI, HS2 and KKS.

How to use
- Make you have latest BepInEx v5.x, BepisPlugins and Modding API installed, and your game is updated.
- Download the latest release below for your game (KK = for Koikatsu, etc.)
- Extract the archive directly into your game's directory (it has a BepInEx folder, it should merge with your existing BepInEx folder).
- Start studio, see if there are any errors on the screen.
- Create a new object and click the "Extra" button in the toolbar on the left of the screen. The gizmo should appear in bottom right corner.
You can change how the new gizmo works in plugin settings (settings may vary per game, PH has none).

This is a greatly improved machine translation of the parts of Koikatsu that aren't yet manually translated. While these translations are not as good as hand-made translations and still have some very obvious issues, they are much better quality than the usual online translations. As a bonus these translations are entirely local, so no internet access is required.
The areas this improves the most are H scene subtitles and dating events (from AfterSchool expansion). You need to have KK_Subtitles installed to see subtitles in H scenes.
Thanks to STN for help figuring out what needed to be translated and to Anon11 for testing.

- If you don't use HF Patch then make sure your game translations are up to date, and download the latest attached archive and extract it directly into your game directory. Remove the "BepInEx\Translation\en\RedirectedResources\assets\zzz_MachineTranslation_v1.zip" file if you have it, or you might still get outdated translations.
Notes
You can see what version of HF Patch you have by opening the game launcher and looking in the bottom right corner.
If you don't see subtitles in H scenes then you either don't have KK_Subtitles or it's disabled in plugin settings. If you don't have this plugin, either reinstall HF Patch and enable it on the "mods to install" list, or install it manually from here.
