The first pose was selected and the pairing was decided to be Deku and Todoroki.
Presumably, this happens right before their first encounter in the tournament.

At the suggestion of a friend, I felt like drawing Chi-Chi in her old clothes.
I'm not a fan of loli Chi-Chi, so being able to put this outfit on her more womanly figure was a treat.
