This moment where Cell is attacked by Vegeta after he shoots Trunks has always been my favorite Vegeta moment because it was the first instance of Vegeta fighting for somebody other than himself.

I was deep into watching DBZ on toonami every day after school and during the Cell Games it was at it's peak with me. I was so anxious on what would happen and once Gohan ascended and became SS2, I knew right then that this was definitely gonna be my favorite show.
I grew up with the old funimation dub where Stephanie Nadolny played Gohan and so her voice is who I always hear anytime I see young Gohan.

Growing up a Sega Genesis kid, I never got to experience Chrono Trigger when it was new, but I think that same holds true for most people I know since, from what I gather, it was a rare game at the time? I could be confusing it with Earthbound, but I don't remember hearing about the game until I was in my final year of high school where I, of course, emulated it on my old laptop with my Mystic Gohan wallpaper.

He wasn't the first villain in DB that Goku ended up reforming, but in my opinion, he was possibly the most interesting. I understand most people prefer Vegeta, but Piccolo legitimately had a very interesting character progression through Dragon Ball.

Goku is really just who you think of when you think of anime. So much so that anytime I introduce any new kind of anime to my family, my mother just calls the lead character Goku.
