Growing up as a Sega boy, I played Golden Axe a bit and my favorite character to play as was Tyris Flare. I got my childhood friends through the game with her to the point that I was called "The Tyris Boy" and eventually, because it was the 90s, kids assumed I was gay.
Interesting that they were half right about me. I am bisexual and happy to expist.
Tyris just reminds me of those times in my life.
