I finally did it.... some buffer during the Monster House Marathon! So now I've got enough to get me through the rest of the event, and I just gotta say I have an overwhelming sense of pride having completed the marathon successfully for I guess technically the first time ever! It helps that I've gotten a lot more practice over the years at staying consistent with updates, so the process is easier than ever. To compare stats...

man I haven't cut it this close with a buffer in a while B) most of these pages have been sitting mostly finished, but I've only been putting the finishing touches on them the night before they go out haha. It's kind of exciting working so close to the deadlines though!

A special little sneak peek for this WIP Wednesday! Part of the reason I haven't worked on any pages lately.
Anyway, this is the animatic for OBT's 2023 trailer! This animatic is a little wet and sloppy since the images I'm drawing for this are just stills, so precise timing on animation isn't really a necessity. At this time, I'm about halfway done with the trailer! Hoping I can get it done before the new year haha
Most of 2023 for OBT will be Chapter 7 stuff, it's a mega long ch...

Catching up on a few of these now, all the way from last year! My initial goal with these was to avoid reusing art used on postcards, but I do think some pieces genuinely look nice as backgrounds and I didn't want to limit myself to something arbitrary haha

more pages at last!! I've been sitting on the lineart for these for a few weeks now, folks keeping up with irl updates know that a big part of this delay was due to saving up for some medical procedures for our cat. we're halfway there with one procedure, so that's a plus! I'm hoping to get back into the swing of making pages, but we'll see how much energy I have after upcoming long workdays

A day late because I had to go to bed early on Real Wednesday to do a double shift at work!
Been using my long days at work lately to work on thumbnails during breaks- I'm finally close to finishing thumbnails for Chapter 7! I still have the lofty goal of finishing the chapter (or at least coming close) before the end of the year. Thumbnails are actually probably the hardest part of the process, so once I have those done it should be pretty smooth sailing for the rest of the chapter! Ho...

I'm especially excited for a yonkoma-style section that feature little mini OBT extras that'll be exclusive to the print/digital copy versions of the book only for a while! maybe eventually I'll release them on patreon or in public, but I'm not sure when that'...
