Due to the nature of how eggs are created, it's not impossible for eggs to have more than one parent. The more parents involved in the creation of the egg, the more difficult it is to create it as a result of needing all members to work in sync to manifest an egg.

Evolution stones allow a pokemon to evolve outside of springs- though they're difficult to come by. These stones are harvested straight from the springs themselves, and are slow to regenerate. As a result, springs tend to be heavily guarded in most areas to prevent overharvesting.

Pokemon in OBT don't have a biological breeding process, but instead one based in what is known as Parentage Aura Exchange. In this, two or more members each offer a portion of their aura (often via usage of a move) with the intent of creating new life. If all parties are in sync, and if their auras blend well, they'll have created an egg with its own unique aura.

Chansey and Blissey eggs don't qualify as pokemon eggs, since they don't hatch and don't require any aura ritual to produce. Even still, some pokemon are put off by eating them.
