On a less silly note, public updates for OBT will pause for a month instead of my usual 2 weeks due to the length of this chapter (returning September 26th), but I'll continue to post pages for the buffer here in the meantime! And I also plan to get back on that special episode grind, I'm looking forward to decompressing with some silly stuff between the upcoming plot-dense pages in the main comic :)

Moxie chose to evolve shortly after Inigo was born so that she could have a pouch to carry him and Dielle with without needing to pack a baby wrap around. She still keeps the Moon Stone she used to evolve in a locked box near her bed.

Marowak Dojo is not an official orphanage technically, but Moxie and Charlotte are always willing to take in and foster children suffering unfortunate circumstances. Moxie keeps in touch with organizations across the region to find homes for kids and always carefully investigates adopting parents. So far, she’s successfully found homes for at least half a dozen kids!

During one training session he had with Dielle, Inigo accidentally poisoned her. With no pecha berries handy, he remembered something he read once in one of his books- that saliva from a venomous pokemon could work as an antidote in a pinch. Needless to say it didn’t work, and Dielle is saving the “one time he spit in my mouth thinking it would cure me” story for the perfect moment to embarrass him.

Some pokemon like Buizel are able to rotate their tails at high speeds with a specialized bone structure that allows the tails to tightly coil in many rotations before rotating in the other direction. If you think about this phenomenon for too long it’s a little unsettling.

Research shows that dungeons can develop “bonds” with the pokemon that live within them. An established group tends to find that dungeons rarely mess with the location of their homes and may even help them by spawning clean water sources and ripe crops.
