News: Moving into a new house

I finally signed all the documents to finish closing on a house yesterday. Had to use a regular sized pen and it gave me a good reminder of why it took me so long to actually start learning how to draw. Just signed my name about 10-15 times, and did a few initials, but by the end of it holding that pen had my hand hurting like crazy.

Got this one from Caveman Doodles for a variant on the bimbos gone wild plotline's start for Rosa. I had it exclusive to Dan for a while because the artist I had commissioned for the start of the plotline only did Dan's before going silent for a long time. But I'll be working on getting this plotline up for Rosa soon.

Remember to set your pledge cap

Hello everyone. I like to give this reminder every few months since my campaign type is less common than monthly campaigns. This is a per-post campaign, so if you have not yet, you should probably set a maximum pledge amount so that you do not get charged more in a month than you want to be. 

I do per-post mainly because it allows me to be much more flexible with my budget and because it is a way to let everyone see and know that I only get paid as long as I'm actually doing stuff....

Voice acting posts poll

So, a voice actor approached me with an interest in giving Helen a voice. I imagine that would probably be nice for her inductions, allowing the player to just listen instead of needing to read every line. This would be able to be toggled on and off if you don't want to hear her voice. 

For the sake of budget though, I do need to figure out how much dialogue I can afford to commission a month. Part of that will be deciding if a voiced scene would count as an out of pocket cost or a...

I just started up live updates for Adventure High now that Spiral Clicker's active development is done for the month. I added five scenes today to start the live updates off; some transform spell stuff for Val and Ashley, and some scenes following up on the Frost Queen if you capture her with a Chakram.

So, on my discord yesterday, some people were talking about the possibilities of having merch related to my games. I haven't really tried it because I don't know how that works, but I did some research and found a place that allows you to sell prints with no apparent risk or upfront fees. So, I thought I'd give it a try.

The kickstartery thingy

So, the poll earlier was fairly strongly in favor of it being okay to start the kickstarter campaign to add the new event, so I set it up. The idea is expanding a fair bit from what Alice originally thought of, because I always seem to end up having ideas balloon into bigger ideas. xD

The idea is going to be a new area to be added, which will include a beach, a version of campus conquest filled with beach-goers, and possibly a new character or two. Probably a lifeguard being one of them...
