Both don’t have a physical form and are shapeshifters.

Since their default forms are enormous, they use a humanoid form to navigate easily. However Arnyek is a furry so her head remained a bird.

Arnyek appears as a giant bird creature sometimes, but Lumino usually stays in his humanoid form because it hides his broken wing, and also to look less like Arnyek.

Arnyek usually calls Lumino and her descendants endearments, only call their full names when she’s serious or they really pissed her, and then something bad will likely happen to them.
