Be Bad, Feel Good, etc

In this branch, Angela’s evil thoughts are far more focused, causing her to grow into a being of pure malice. Working on the pose for this one was a lot of fun. The initial sketch (third image) felt like too much of a pose for the camera. As always, it’s better to be able to tell she’s evil and loving it from body language, not just a pair of horns and a raised eyebrow.

Horns upon Horns

Angela finds her head swimming with scattered thoughts of evil, from mischief to mayhem. The particularly spicy ones manifest as new bent horns.

New Horn Just Dropped

Working on some new Magic Lessons. It’s something that’s not quite devil nor demon, but is definitely baaaaaad.

Wrong Kind of Craft

A doodle in the truest sense, I scrawled this out half-asleep. When I can’t think, I tend to doodle cubes. A cube turned into a head, which turned into this. And then I posted it instead of deleting it.

I think I whipped up a pretty good beach background, despite dismal New England weather keeping me out of the ocean all summer. Maybe I’ll post something tomorrow that looks more like an average beach day for me.

I was given a pretty detailed sketch for this one, but Agent gave me some room to play around, like adding some blonde and loose strands to Chelsea’s usually well-regulated beehive. Also, the unplanned lotion ad was something I came up with bin the sketch phase, and it entertained me too much not to include it.

File this one under “jumping the gun.” It took eight years, but someone finally commissioned a Magic Lesson in which Angela’s hair engulfs her but grants her a fully controllable hair suit, and not one that ensnares her and all of her friends and takes over the world. I just played through Skyward Sword HD. I’ve always wondered why nobody’s ever (to my knowledge) done a Zelda Imprisoned TF. I guess the main reason is that nobody likes The Imprisoned. Anyway, after all that time stuck in the bottom of a hole, forced into an absurd form, it seems only right that if victorious, Demise would have turned the tables on his resurrected goddess nemesis.

It’s part of Aanaya’s powers that she blows kisses at her targets. And while she doesn’t always turn folks into pigs, it was serendipitous for me, because I got to make a heart turn into a little glowing piggie snout! I also had fun with the splotchy skin change.

Clean, black lines and dialogue! I didn’t include my first pass which had too much dialogue. My position on talkative TFs is that I don’t like them, because they lean too much on trite show-don’t-tell violations. (“I-is that… A TAIL?!?!”) I was conflicted here because Winifred is the kind of person that wouldn’t shut up while being turned into a pig. The problem is that the idea of one’s voice being replaced with animal noises sounds good in my head, but it doesn’t ...

Here’s a commission for tffan01 where his OC, Aanaya, turns Ms. Pale into a pig just long enough to win a blue ribbon. Gee, I hope the contest is as much of a lock as Aanaya thinks. Is the curse conditional? Does Win need to take home first prize, or does she just need to be on the podium?

Winislip imminent

Winifred suddenly has, among other things, an undeniable magnetism towards banana peels. Yes, this was a direct inspiration from Lemonfont’s ongoing Nickels series. Look it up. Part one is infinitely more explicit than any of my work. It’s straight up clown sex, but there’s a tenderness and vulnerability to the characters that made it click with me. Plus, it’s clown TF with a fittingly absurd trigger.
