Plans for August!

Hey Guys! Thanks for your continued support, the patreon is growing and I am really glad so many of you enjoy the content!

I recorded the footage of the first two parts for painting the Nurgle Marine and they were scheduled for editing during the last few days - however the manflu got me badly and I need a few days to recover. They will go up as soon as I feel better and can sit down longer hours for editing :) I am planning a total of 4 videos this month.

The new Nurgle Marines were good, but the sculpt that tried to mimic the awesome artwork in the small Nurgle-Fluff-Booklet was a bit of a letdown to me, so I resculpted it to reflect the epicness and more primal Nurgle that I envision. I am away for 6 days - soon after I am back I will post the next pdf (the joker) and start the next video series - resculpt of my nurgle marine into the artwork from the booklet, making a detailed nurgle themed base and then of course also the paintjob :) end of the next month will also see a pdf about this paintjob. Example of Painting Black Apparel

A lot of people were asking me how to paint black recently, and I remembered this footage and edited this video. 

You can apply this to any dark surface, just remember to:

- not start with black, but always mix your black with grey, blue, red, green, anything that fits your colors and then shade with black

- you can adjust the brightness, you can stop at a a darker grey if you dont want the surface to be too light and then focus a bit on the edges to increase contrast 2017-07-20 05:48:47 +0000 UTC View Post

Gryphcharger PDF

Fresh off the press, 10 packed pages about how I painted this well designed Games Workshop beast. Miniature is still Work in Progress, but tons of Information and eyecandy in this Issue and even more will follow in the second part as I continue this paintjob and also finish the rider eventually. One Shot 1 - Tales of the Future, Background.

The Gryphcharger Beak

Leather helmet and weathered metallics

Explaining how I did the Leather on the helmet of my half ork sculpt, showing how to create texture on leather and creating color variation of different browns and black.
