This time I tried very light linework and a lot of textured brushes. Tried to make her skin look furry but also somehow shiny? Very much an experiment, but I had fun with it.

Trying out another slightly different painting style. Usually I build up the base shading and highlights with a default soft round brush, and then sprinkle some texture layers on top to make it look like paper or canvas.
This time I started with a textured brush to lay down the initial rough shadows and highlights, then added more refined layers of shadows and light on top.

My days playing World of Warcraft are behind me, but I hear Jaina Proudmoore is a raid boss now in the latest expansion patch.
I thought she needed some buffing up to go toe-to-toe with a raid full of 40 armored players while wearing nothing but her cloth robes. Now with this beefier body she looks more ready for a 40-vs-1
