cheesey airbrushed chrome tutorial

so I know I removed the $3 tutorial tier* because of scheduling issues but I've gotten into messing around with this chrome look and because of that I've had a lot of people asking me how I did it so I figured I'd make this. 

My new plan going forward is to just have the $2 basic Tip Jar tier for everyone and I'll occasionally do a tutorial every now and then for that tier. Basically every patron will be able to see the tutorial. But I won't make the tutorial be exclusiv...

the good news is that i've been managing my time better so i'm ahead of the game with these pages at the moment, but lately i haven't had much time to get any tutorials, or more advanced stuff for my Super Cool Dudes patron tier. i am planning on removing that tier for now because i don't want to have my patrons paying for nothing. the art center i work at is having an online art show so i wanted something pretty recent to show that also went with the classes i teach there. So i made page one of my newest story and colored it. However, i don't think the whole story is gonna be fully colored like that. It's much more likely going to be like the third version of this page, with the very sparse and simple shadows.

i'm taking my sweet time on this because i want it to be as good as it can be.

Designing Some Characters

most of the work i've been doing this week has been focused on getting the characters to look appealing, and there's probably going to be more work going into it in the future but for now i'm happy with things. 

i don't necessarily plan on having the story be in full color but just for the sake of knowing what i'm doing i gave them all colors on the height comparison sheet

i also don't have any concrete names for them so feel free to leave some suggestions
