First Animation

Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know Im back at animating lol. This time Im actually going to produce results. 

I've noticed that I've started countless animations but end up trashing them because I think they're bad. This isn't conducive to me learning because part of learning is to be able to look back at your old work and compare and contrast it to your current work.

So yea this last week and so has been a little hectic.

As you guys know I was working on creating my first ever image sequence renders recently.

Everything was going as planned and going smoothly BUT Blender decided to upgrade to 3.4.0

Because I have the steam version, mine was automatically updated along with it.

If you have this version of blender then you know as well that it completely changes your nodes.

Basically, you cant save a file in 3.4.0 and then try ...

So yea, got an animation course. Been working on it for like about 4 days now. Its good because I'm learning so much about blender that I never knew before. Downside is I have to animate a fuckin squirrel.

Animation is almost the hardest obstacle I've ever had to bump heads with in blender. I thought I was going to be able to learn how to do this correctly In a short amount of time but this is way more complicated than expected. So, In the meantime, I'll try to get some renders out while learning in the background.

Learned quite a bit about PhysX within the last 24 hours. The next step is to do some thigh physX and then replicate it with all my characters. Then after that, I can finally start doing animations hardcore.

Motivation

Just want to let you guys know if theres anything you guys want to do in life make sure you go after it. Currently Im in an artistic slump but I know that it will pass. Everytime I fail at doing something I really want to do, I get really unmotivated for a period of time and eventually I accomplish it. The current barrier for me is animation. That's been my goal ever since I got into this field, and I WILL accomplish it.

ANIMATION UPDATE #1

Ended up scrapping the original animation I was working on and started a new one from scratch.

The problem with the original was that it felt robotic, not enough fluid movements and also didnt have a grasp on jiggle physics. So with that being said hopefully this go at animating will meet my standards

FINALLY FUCKING DID IT

I've been trying to learn how to make a working spline IK to control the dick so we dont have to use FK anymore and I finally fucking did it. Going to update my emma model with it aswell some point in the future.
