We found our new colorist! / Мы нашли колориста!

Good news! A new colorist has finally joined the party. Since we announced we were hiring on VK (our main Russian platform), a good dozen artists answered our call, with all kinds of skill level and style. Now it was time to choose the best of the best, the one fit to take on Sammy.

First, we send all the artists a simple test case: lineart and stages for one of the tricky pages of the comic. Using stages as an example, they had to color the lineart so that it matched Len's style. Ideally...

Some time ago, thanks to all your support, we were able to hire a colourist to help Len with the pages. The idea was for the guy to do all the colouring, leaving Len creating more lineart. More lineart - more pages, more pages - happy reader :)

This page sure took longer than we planned. It looks simple, but looks can be deceiving. The hard part was the dialogue and setup. The dialogue on this page could go on for ages, and there would b no way to fit it on a page. After much thought about ways to shorten it, we came up with the embarrassed Simon who rushed the conversation to the end. But don't worry, Boris will not leave for long :)

PS: By the way, the version with the glasses is a little noncanon. In our future, people don't use glasses with dioptries - vision can be corrected without any problems, or you can implant cyber-eyes. But many peoples like glasses, so we added it specially for you.

In this time there are not so many versions as usual, because Len is sick and painted this art from the last forces. So let's wish him a speedy recovery and beautiful nurses :)
