Moth comm + steps + info if you want to order

I opened two quick slots on FA today as I'm feeling comatose and it's time to kick myself out of it. The first commission from these two is a moth one, and I think it's the second moth I've ever drawn lol. It's actually pretty interesting. The character is heavily inspired by Hollow Knight, so I wanted to add the Hollow Knight's atmosphere to the art

My mom got covid. Honestly the whole October was exhausting with all  this computer bs, health stuff and other things I had to deal with, and  this is just an apogee of nonsense. I don't really want to talk about  it. Just letting you know that I'm finishing the work I have left and  taking a break. I don't  know how bad it's all gonna be and when I'll be able to get back to the  art stuff.

I had to adjust the poses a bit when I was lining and I also had a few struggles with the background as I wanted to use the warm palette first, but I didn't like how it was turning out.  Something wasn't right. And then I thought, both species are pretty exotic and "alien", so I can try something unusual, as if snow fell down somewhere in the South! And this is what I went with and I'm satisfied with it >:)

Erba is a very dark setting that is full of human vices, twisted magic and desperation (though it can't completely destroy hope). I was very attached to it back then, though honestly at this stage of my life I'm craving more for something fun than depressing (this is why I'm having a blast with Pticenoga and Vaughn, even though Vaughn isn't...

Finally I had a chance to finis this one lol. There wasn't much to do anyway and it was bearable this time. Sometimes you do need months to get yourself together and finish something in an hour or so x)
