I haven't drawn Heather for a while, and I've been thinking what could be the reason. Sometimes you just stop feeling the connection with your character - but it's not the case. I can still feel Heather. But my life has changed a lot in the past two years,  precisely since my dad died, and I had Heather years before that.

Things I've been working on today

Upper arts are commissions, colored sketch for Vyruem and a special portrait for the Russian customer.

Honestly I wanted to draw more after I finished the commissions but for some reason I died and failed %) So there are small sketches of Tzipporah (The Prince of Egypt) and my RDR2 horse I got for my Arthur through the mod, because this breed isn't available for the story mode but I don't care lol. I just love the colors and that the horse is big and chubby

I drew this abomination with Pticenoga and Vaughn based on the nonscence we're doing with Lime sometimes (plus that distorted face meme). But the roles are reversed since Lime is taller than me IRL

I am happy to find my old - and also my fave - Erba pictures of Heather and her kitty boah in the big size! I only had the public versions from my FA and they are pretty small, and I didn't know where I put the originals since I changed my working computer from the time I drew these arts. 

Sadly they aren't that big as I'm making my arts now, for some reason I was afraid of giant canvases back then. Still, better than nothing x) So I'm happily sharing them with you.

Also a change with the payment

It's not a pleasant thing to write about, but I made the charging upfront from now on. The reason for that is because I had a bunch of people becoming patrons in the beginning of the month - then bailing out in the end of the month without paying anything. All of them had the highest tier and access to all of the posts.
I completely understand that paying for my content is an act of a good will, and everybody has a right to stop following me here - it's absolutely normal and I have no issu...

I'm on a small vacation right now

But will be back soon. I really needed a break from everything, especially when I had a chance to finally see Lime - first time in a whole year! Oh yes.

Dudes I did it

I thought I might die

I felt like I have no hands, I couldn't work but I forced myself to do something so I won't slip into the artblock completely - and wouldn't upset anybody but me if I fail %))

I had a chance to work on this art in between of running around for papers (different kind; April is a paperwork month for me it seems) and before going to the second vaccination. Guess it's good because I don't know how I'm going to feel tomorrow, we'll see

P.S. - lining the car was hell

P.S.S. - I edited the art a bit xD I have fever and achenes, but it didn't stop me from fixing a few small parts

That's an upgraded to a scene commission (when the first sketch didn't work out). 

I also added a rough doodle that was supposed to represent my idea xD So you may compare it to the sketch.

I'm not a fan of weapon & tech stuff, but commissions like that - and sometimes Borderlands arts - make me step out of the comfort zone and improve my skill xD Which is nice.
