So anyway I started blasting

Lime and I've been working on some AU fanfic recently, and I wanted to illustrate one of the scenes from there %)

BW sketch commissions: rough sketch vs end result

I took two BW sketch commissions this time and they were incredibly nice to draw! Both of the girls have some tragic experience in their lives: Mary (who belongs to Seri) has died in fire and now continues her life as a ghost, and Kineas (who belongs to Ravegeam) lost both of her arms due some tragic incident and replaced them with cybernetic ones.

I like when the characters have a backstory.

I couldn't finish the previous sketch because I wasn't SATISFIED xDD The pose felt stiff and  I decided to leave it for now. Maybe I'm gonna fix it later. I decided to draw more action instead

On my way home yesterday I thought about the Treasure Planet cartoon and how cool it was, so I decided to sketch another character I like. Maybe I'll finish it later, we'll see

And immediately remembered how we've been playing with Lime, how cute that game was (and we were cute too ahahaha), how f#cked up Vaughn became in BL3 and how we didn't like it... Yeah, I decided to sublimate my feelings into something nice

Here's some AU Shade and baby Pticenoga sketch I stated some time ago.

I think I need to clarify some things here. I love this Borderlands AU and I've had it for several years already, and I didn't lose interest to it, which is nice. But that parent-kid relationship dynamic was affected by death of my own father a year ago, and honestly I couldn't draw anything related to it. Considering that my IRL relationship were pretty complicated... Here we are.

What happens when you die mid process

I was thinking about human version of Pticenoga (she actually has one already, but I wanted something closer to her predatory nature rather than just a woman). Also remembered some of my old concepts when she could "took off" her feathers like if it was  clothes (our Slavic legends have this idea). Started working on it - and died because my hand started acting weird again %))) It was mostly fine yesterday, so I could finish my Kelpie art, but apparently doing something more than that is...

So

After I accidentally pulled my right arm, I could draw but the hand and wrist feel a bit off. I guess I need to give it a couple more resting days, even though I'm full with ideas I'd like to draw (yeah always happens in time). I'm just glad I finished all the commissions so people don't have to wait until I get back on trail.
