Late Colacoot Birthday Animation Loop

This is a super late animation loop for Colacoot, who I haven't animated anything for in a while. Feels like every week I test and experiment with Clip more and more. First time messing with camera effects behind a character while they stay in place.

Doing this SUPER last minute, just finished this up a few minutes ago. I dunno how big the file was animating all this, but my computer started chugging a lot. Some things I wish I could add, like a second layer of buildings behind the brick wall for depth. But everything just got way too big once I added the cycling wall.

Straight up, I rushed this out the Saturday the episode was posted. Just hauled on this one. I guess it shows, but hey I can FINALLY try and catch on a trend for once.

Lucky me the shading in the show is very liminal. As far as I saw it was only the overlay layer, so many of the character designs are so intercut it's hard to tell on the surface.

This turned-out way more fun and quicker than I first thought. I actually made this whole thing in 24 fps, everything in the background moving half the speed, so it's still the standard 12fps to some degree.

The one thing I kept arguing back and forth is if the background should've been a dark purple and be harder to see or this. But this honesty looked too good to try and make everything darker than heck, especially since it helped make everything pop.

Good Ending to Kat from Halo Reach

This one felt cathartic to do.

For multiple reasons.

This was the second full animation I did with the new shading and coloring look. Really got to experiment with the palette while sampling from the models, bouncing back and forth until I got a good shade on everyone. There was gonna be more stuff in the background, especially another pair in the doorway to the right, but decided last minute not to as it would've detracted from the spectacle up front.

Cross Sama 20k Clapper GIF Loop

I JUST finished this up right before typing all of this out, which is 9 days before its debut. Never would've thought he'd surpass me on the bird site, he's a champ.

This is probably the biggest thing I've done with his girls so far. Just the scope and detail put into it. Even tried doing the same skin gloss shine brush he has. I think out of all the ones I did, this is probably the most accurate to his pieces.

I've been doing some thinking and test work during that time and have a plan set out for the next 12 months or so.

Not too much to say. As of typing this, I'm tired.

I'm still working hard on the rest of Episode 2, but everything feels like I'm getting pulled back. Worst projection will be January 10th. If it looks like I'm not gonna make even that deadline, I'm cutting ties with everyone until it's finished. No new weeklies, no friends pulling me out of the house, nothing. I don't care at this point, I'm getting very upset with how long it feels and looks like this thing is gonna make.
