So Krystal is finished... but I'm really unhappy with how she's looking. I'm going to spend some time improving the model some more. Hopefully I can get her somewhere I like.

But don't want to keep you all in the dark! So here are some renders of her! I'm planning on using this scene to preview changes I make, so I'll be uploading a (hopefully) better-looking version of this scene later!

Krystal Is Almost Done!

Sorry things have been a bit slow, been super excited to finish this model! 

She's currently fully modeled and rigged, save for clothing which I haven't gotten around to yet. Just need to texture her next, which is why she isn't textured above.

New Character Update!

The new character poll has gotten tons of votes! Thanks everyone for the feedback!~

So here's the game plan. I've started work on a new Krystal model, as seen above. I've already got almost all of the actual geometry finished. Just need to get the inside of the mouth, finish the hair, then make any remaining tweaks. After that I can start texturing and rigging. I've been using this opportunity to improve a few things and I'm so far really excited with how it's coming along!

Underboob Rig Test

One of my white whales has been trying to get boobs that don't deform weird on the underside. I've done tons of weight painting and used shape keys to try and fix the weirdness of it, to mixed results. I just sorta... make them too big.

But I've found a string of bones where the underside of the breast meets the chest works really well! Tried with 4 bones, each disconnected from each other and all parented to the chest bone. This lets me move the bottom crease of the breast wherever I w...

Particle Fur Test

Got a bug up my butt, felt like taking a crack at learning to use particle hair! Turns out Blender recently revamped its hair particle system so my timing was lucky. 

Unfortunately I won't be able to make any real content with it any time soon. Partially because my CPU needs upgrading, but partially because years of cruft that has accumulated on my Renamon model over the years interfering with the hair system. One of these days I really need to make a new Renamon model.
