Tomorrow I start working on the script for the Kickstarter video and then on Tuesday I'm meeting with Anne Moloney, whose gunna be making the video. She made the videos for Periscope Studio and Dylan Meconis' campaigns and we've been friends for a decade, so there's no one I'd rather have than her!

Friday, so it was a shipping day. Oh dang, there was so much shipping! I sold off the last of my ECCC orgy prints and then the Periscope Etsy shop had a super productive week so there were a ton of orders to send out. 

I'm aaaaaaalmost done inking the final two pages of this five page comic. Why did I find it necessary to draw a library? Erika, you fool.

Only one page inked today, I'd hoped to get at least two done but I had appointments in the morning and evening so that cut down my work day pretty dramatically. 

I'm making a really conscious effort to change my camera angle around. The last year I've basically just had the camera at eye level and alternated between half-body shots, full body shots, and close-ups, with people either directly facing the viewer or in profile. Basically, the easiest angles for me to draw.

Yesterday was supposed to be a penciling day and yes I did manage to pencil a bit but oh man it was basically a Lost Day. My brain was super unfocused and I felt like I was in a fog, so instead of getting *five pages penciled* I kind of scribbled in the "easy" bits sporadically, not finishing any one single page. And then I left work early to go to the eye doctor and she dilated my pupils so that was the end of getting any work done.

 Lordy Bagordy, I finished the comic yesterday! Turns out, when you don't  have to draw much fucking, it hardly takes much time at all to finish! Augh, ALMOST finished the linework for the fourth page, but I couldn't work later because I had to be home at a specific hour for a thing. If I just coulda had half an hour mooooore. All page four needs is for the tails to be drawn on the word balloons, the giant hand and seated figures to be merged into the same layer (removing the parts where they overlap across each other), and tattoos/shirt stripes/beard stubble to be drawn in.

Got four pages roughly penciled and one page inked, not bad for a day where I didn't get into the office until 1pm.

Oh dang, Emerald City Comic-Con was a helluva thing. 

We got home yesterday afternoon, which was a Monday, which is a scripting day. But dudes? Dudes. No scripting was done. The only thing I was capable of doing was flopping on the couch like limp asparagus. 

Today was a continuation of being on Deflated Balloon Mode, so though I did manage to make it to the studio all I was capable of doing was writing the script and not even laying it out.
