Scott and his friends reach a heartfelt resolution to their journey. Or do they? Based on the mid-credit scene we receive, it appears the story writers are setting up more problems for Scott and his allies to face. From what we can assume, it appears Gideon and Julie are cooking up a nefarious scheme, which is a bit peculiar given how things resolve for Gideon in the end. Overall, a fun little series.

This episode takes “You are your own worst enemy” to heart by revealing that Scott’s future self is responsible for Scott’s fabricated demise. Not only that but it appears Old Ramona had a hand to play to ruining her former lover’s sabotaging shenanigans. While the twins being the culprits behind the portal became obvious after Matthew’s name was cleared, many will be puzzled by Scott’s insistence to craft his disappearance. While this investigation’s resolved to an extent, there are still many mysteries and sub-plots for this story to clear up.

What an absolute banger of a season for The Boys! The ending of this was intriguing. What is going to happen to Ryan? Homelander.... will anything happen to him? Noir.... WHAT??? Once again, a lot unfolded with the characters. Kudos to the cast and crew for delivering three phenomenal seasons of The Boys. Excited to see what the next season has in store!
