So I don't know how obvious it is, but that's the back door to Jenna's bakery that Helen is coming in from. It's one of those things where I know that the back alley looks like that and the front of the store didn't, but I don't know how well anyone else remembers that since it's been more than two years since the back alley was shown in the comic.

We're pretty much finished with the setup for this chapter and the focus will start to be more on a longer sex scene that's kind of the focus of the chapter. This is one of the less obvious cosplay commissions I've gotten recently. So this isn't just a busty drawing of Zelda, but it's supposed to be Trixie dressed as Zelda. The two of them look superficially pretty similar, since they're both blondes with blue eyes and long straight hair. So with Trixie's hair styled the same as Zelda's it can be hard to tell the difference.

So for the first and third panel I actually copied the "pencils" layer, then made edits for the differences between the shots. The inks are still done completely separately, though... so although there is a level of cut n' paste repetition in the process, if you put the two panels on top of each other there would be subtle differences throughout.

This cosplay commission isn't quite as obvious as the other ones so far, since she's wearing one of the character's literally hundreds of alternate costumes instead of her most iconic outfit. So anyway, in case you can't tell, Karen is dressed as Tina Armstrong from Dead or Alive, although the client also requested to make her shirt see-through, add some banana-themed jewelry, and a Kat-themed backpack. Oh, and I almost forgot, he also requested her to have a normal-sized clit.

So I actually internally debated a lot on this whole dream sequence with Jenna and Cassandra, partly because I'm generally down on dream sequences in porn... it can be kind of a letdown to have a hot scene and then just reveal at the end that it was all just in one character's head. But still, it's a good way to fit more sex into the visuals even when sex isn't actually happening. Plus, there are some repercussions to this scene that will play out as this story progresses.

This is a $25 Patreon reward, with the Martian Queen from Duck Dodgers. I've never watched much of that show, but I am a bit familiar with the character... does she have a name or is it just "Martian Queen"? Anyway, the main design decision I was requested to include was to have her hair down... normally she wears some kind of golden crown tiara thing, but based on the reference I found online she was a lounge singer at some point and I used the hair style from that as reference.

We've got two more pages of this story... I'm actually really happy with this change to making Shortcake stories 10 pages instead of 5. I had initially done this series with just 5 pages per chapter because that's basically the bare minimum number of pages I feel are needed to tell a cohesive, if simple story. But there's a lot more flexibility and options with just a few more pages.

It's been kind of awkward keeping up with the comic as well as the number of commissions and stuff I've been taking on as well. I actually find myself with several ongoing comics... there's BCC, obviously. Plus I draw Side Dishes on my own, and Cock & Dagger with story/writing by Shotred, and a continuation of that Pirate story being commissioned regularly by one of my patrons.

I think Cassandra is getting more muscular every time I draw her. She's still not meant to be quite as fit as some of the other characters... of the muscular women in the comic, her muscles are probably the "softest", if that makes any sense.

Writing the dialogue for the Moon Goddess was a little tricky here... we haven't really written a lot for her, so we haven't really established much of a personality for her yet. A lot of the supernatural creatures we see in the story are obsessed with breeding. I guess that's just the logical focus to give to characters like that for a porn comic.
