Whew... despite my trouble with my tablet, I managed to get this page finished. It involved a lot of corrections and I had to do some work with my mouse, but luckily the bulk of the shading on this page was already finished.

I went out of my way to get next day shipping, but so far it hasn't arrived and it's possible I won't get it until tomorrow. When I designed Cassandra's daughter (who I think we decided should be named Helen?), I didn't really intend for her to be a character that gets involved with sex at all. She was just supposed to look young and innocent... looking at her design now, I've realized she actually kind of looks like Elmyra from Tiny Toons. But with Shotred helping with the writing on this chapter he thought she would be a good "mark" for the girls to test out their magic on.

I feel like I whine about this regularly, but it is pretty tricky to draw Lisette sometimes just because she's so short, and it's hard to find good reference for her.I accidentally followed the reference I used for the first panel too closely, and I didn't realize until CGI pointed it out that she was looking just a bit too tall. Earlier they had a Nintendo Direct where they announced some Pokemon stuff... not surprisingly, they announced a rerelease of Pokken tournament for Switch and a semi-sequel to Sun/Moon on 3DS.  So, I hadn't actually planned to make a Michael Jackson joke in the third panel. CGI just flatted it that way as a gag, since something about the imagery of this page reminded him of Billie Jean. I think he was expecting me to just change the lit up panel back to normal colors, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to just leave it in. There's plenty of magic powers in this series, so it's not too ridiculous to imagine there's some guy who can make tiles light up.

The trouble I was dealing with yesterday seemed to be gone, but when I was nearly finished with this page the problems came back... so I tried rebooting my computer to see if that would resolve the problem, but once my computer restarted the tablet driver just completely glitched up... and even trying to reinstall it didn't seem to solve the problem. I kind of just banged my head against the problem fo...
