I feel like Anastasia's probably the type of woman who doesn't quite understand modern communication. I kind of doubt she ever even bothered to try and call Kat at any point on her cell phone. Well, I say "kind of doubt" but I make all the executive decisions on this comic, so I can pretty much just declare it the truth if I feel like it. I just don't like to make too many decisions set in stone if they don't actually come up in the comic.

This was a black and white commission by Nick of his friend Alura. It was pretty interesting working on a pinup based overtly on a real person. I had this finished last night, but I didn't see his message approving it until just now. This may end up being something that gets fully colored later, but for now he just wanted it in black and white.

Thew new character in this page is actually a Patron's original character. I have a $100 tier for Patreon support, and anyone who donates on that level can have their character appear in a cameo role inthe comic. To be honest it was one of those reward tiers I didn't really expect anyone to fund since it's such a luxury item, but I'm glad that someone did.

I actually found myself involved in some weird Deviantart drama the other day. I got a message from someone asking to do an art trade or collab... which I'm not really open for. The winning poll choice this week is for a Finale! Lisette has a pretty unique body type, so it can be a little tricky to look up reference for her. But I think it makes the story more fun to have a big variety in body types... tehre's a lot of things that we can do with Lisette that we literally couldn't with other characters

I feel like this page ended up a bit bigger than I had initially planned, almost entirely because of those middle panels. I just really wanted to show that trio of reaction shots for Kat. I really enjoy drawing her in her werecat form, since her cat features seem to make her extra expressive. I think it's the ears. Anyway, Karen's going to be learning a lot before this chapter is through :)
