I'm glad to see that for most mobile devices the site actually does work well. The problem I was having was that, when trying to zoom in on the page, the side bar zooms in as well and pushes the image to the side. In general I think the site probably needs some kind of redesign, but I just don't really have the time/energy/skill to do it properly. Lol hopefully I'll be able to save up enough money to hire a basic webdesigner sometime soon.

The plan for this chapter is to reach at least 30 pages. We might got a bit longer, but I think 30 is a pretty good estimate based on what we want to show. In this page I'm actually deliberately using reference sent to me by a patron, which I'm always happy to work with. lol I actually find it quite helpful, since finding good reference sometimes takes up an obscene amount of time, depending on how unusual of a pose I'm trying to look for. One of these days I need to redesign the homepage for BCC. I recently got an ipod touch and tried to check out the site, and I realized that the site design is actually totally broken for mobile viewing. I'm not really in favor of sites being totally optimized for mobile viewing, but it's basically not really viewable at all. I just don't really have much experience or uh... patience for website design.

I've been waking up earlier lately and getting started on the comic sooner, and I'm pretty happy to be able to get the comic done earlier than usual. Lol I think it's partly just because I'm pretty excited to be able to work on this chapter, since we've been planning to show Jenna and Bianca together.

It was a little tricky to nail down Jenna's expression, but I managed to find some really solid "face fucking" reference, which gave me a better idea of what she should look like while Bianca takes charge during this scene.

So in case it's not totally clear, Bianca actually doesn't have a clit. I... think that doesn't contradict anything seen in earlier pages lol but since Bianca is intersexed rather than a proper hermaphrodite her penis is kind of an extension of her clitoris. Rainbow Flyer is really pushing herself to get this story finished soon. She's working on the last page of the comic now, and she should have it finished tomorrow! I don't know for certain if she'll be able to work on Banana Sundae again right away, but she is still planning to work on her own original story that's going to be a sort of My Little Pony parody, though she's still hammering out the details.

So the weird challenge of this scene is to convey the idea of Jenna being the one fucking while Bianca is still more or less in charge. Lol I feel like she's experienced enough to be able to take on basically a "power bottom" role. Lol especially with someone like Jenna, who is kind of naturally submissive to her. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but you can sort of tell whether or not Jenna is completely "lust crazed" based on if she calls Bianca "Mother" or "Mommy".

So... David Bowie died yesterday. Bowie was kind of interesting to me... I always liked Bowie, but I was never a huge fan... I had a couple of his songs on my playlist, and I always respected him, but I never followed him too closely. But he was just kind of... ubiquitous in popular culture. I suppose in some way I was influenced more by the people who were influenced by him than I was directly by Bowie.

CGI had the idea of having some version of "Goddess Jenna" as the host for future chapters of Side Dishes, and I think it's a good idea as a means to sort of link these stories but also to give us a reason to change perspective so that the stories could logically be a bit shorter. I think it would also give us the chance to refine the story ideas at the start of chapters. I was thinking it would work best for the first page of a new chapter to be an introductory page to show God...

A lot of people already guessed that Bianca has been fully aware of Jenna this whole time, so I guess it's not too much of a twist. Today's page is going up a bit early today since I have somewhere to be later tonight, so I had to choose between either getting this comic up early, getting it up late, or figuring out how to queue it up, which seemed like a bit of a waste since it's only around an hour early.

Got this page done extra early today, because I have something I need to go to tonight, so I woke up early and got started right away on the page. This is one of those pages that took a while to get all the layout and pencils figured out, since it's got some interesting and unusual camera angles, but there aren't actually too many complicated details, so the inking and coloring actually went fairly fast.

I had a slight scare earlier because, while working on this page my computer froze up and when I rebooted the PSD file had been corrupted and wouldn't load correctly. However, whenever I work on these pages I send the inks to CGI to do the flat colors first, so when he sends them back I end up with a copy of the file in my downloads folder. Normally I transfer it to my work folder (to keep my downloads from getting cluttered), but a common thing for me to do is work on the page immedi...
