We managed to sneak in another cameo in this page... I wonder if anyone will recognize who it is. As you've probably noticed in this comic that I don't normally draw particularly complicated backgrounds, so it was a bit of a challenge getting this bus interior to look accurate. I actually drew it a bit smaller than the reference I used... in the picture I used for reference the back of the truck actually led to a raised section and another set of seats. This page was actually kind of the point of the whole chapter. I had read an article talking about BDSM, and one of the things the article talked about that I've never really seen in fiction is the "cooldown" afterward. It's common for the emotional and physical toll to just kind of break a person down to a crying mess... but also how important that release is....

I hope that Jenna's "mad arousal" face looks at least a little attractive. Lol I'm a little worried that I'm pushing it too far, but I really want to get across the idea that that she's kind of so turned on that she can hardly keep her mind straight. I'm a little worried about how time-consuming the art is going to be once we start introducing larger groups of spectators lol I'm already having a little trouble with just getting backgrounds to look better.

Bonus: Disco Cleo

Not my best pinup... I couldn't find one great reference pic that really fit what the commissioner was asking for, so I kind of built this pinup out of multiple pieces of reference, and it's not totally accurate. I've started to do more parts of the art fully digitally... in particular the motion lines. Originally I just drew them as part of the linework, then changed the linework color to white to help it look less solid. I realized, though, that was just taking up more time to achieve an effect that would be easy to do digitally.

I think I'm just not used to drawing girls with any pubic hair... which is a bit weird considering I have nothing against pubic hair, but it's just something I don't really think to give the girls. This page is going up just a touch later than usual, since I wanted to give some more time for people to appreciate Rainbow Flyer's work on Banana Sundae. This page is actually one of my favorites that I've drawn in a while. I've been trying to push myself to get more interesting layouts and perspective in my comic, and I feel like this was one of the pages that had a lot of solid unique perspectives but still had better anatomy and coloring than usual for this comic.
