I am having fun with the Moon Goddess... her dialogue is a little tricky to write, since I want to reinforce that she doesn't talk like a normal person, but not to such a degree that she comes off as bizarre or goofy. I almost just went all-in and had her speak all "Thee, Thou, thine" style... I even considered stealing something from Discworld and have her speak with numbers at the start... I'm not sure what the right word for it is, but it's like how if you read the bible each line starts w...

It's a bit odd to write for a scene like this where the audience knows so much more than the characters do... normally it's the other way around. But as we all know, Bianca's semen isn't actually viable, and I feel like if some splatted onto Mano she would know instantly... so this is my way of explaining why she doesn't notice right away.

my wife had a doctor's appointment today, so I wasn't able to work on a full comic page, but luckily I got a commission for today that I could still finish while having less time to work than usual.

Their last commission with Belle in it went over so well, the client got inspired for some more focused on Belle. Normally he just writes the dialogue for these pinups, but we worked together a bit to figure out how to get her to shout "Think of the Children!" in a way that doesn't come off...

Honestly, the hardest part of writing these is the Goddess's dialogue. It's tricky to convey her almost otherworldly and grandiose way of speaking without it just coming off as goofy.

Also, there's still time to vote on the next Side Dishes page! The muscle-growth option has a pretty strong lead right now, but there's still time for that to change.
