I feel like Bianca is kind of tricky to write for, because I don't want to downplay the fact that she's a career criminal who uses magic to manipulate and control people... she's very much a villain. But I think she's still generally likeable, and we never see her do anything so unforgivable that it makes you uncomfortable fantasizing about her.

Young Anastasia isn't really dumb, she's just kind of naive and has a truck load of self-doubt. I feel like a lot of smart people sometimes come off as dumb if they're constantly second-guessing themselves and don't trust themselves to come to logical conclusions. Conversely, I've noticed that some really dumb people can convince a whole lot of people that they're actually intelligent just by speaking with confidence, even when they're saying some of the dumbest shit you've ever heard.

It's something I've always known, but I never really had a reason to reveal it in the comic before this, but this felt like a natural moment to actually bring it up.
