Whew, it is a hot day today. There's some kind of problem with the plumbing in my apartment complex, and to fix it they turned off both water and A/C. Luckily, the AC was on this morning for a while, so my apartment was cool enough that I could work on this comic page without fear of my PC overheating. In the past I've had days where I just couldn't work, because my computer can't run at all if the AC isn't working and it's too hot out.
As for today's actual comic... I'm having fun with...

It's 4th of July, Babyyyyyyyyyy! Unskilled had the idea to go for just a silly flag-bikini pinup, and I suggested making it really over-the-top and silly. I came up with the flag and explosion idea, but he suggested adding the eagles.
Speaking of 4th of July, I'm going to be visiting family for the holiday, so I won't be able to upload anything that day... and also the 5th, because I'll be traveling.

I had initially planned to finish this chapter with Astrid's scene as the big finale, but as I was working on it Patrons were asking about another specific character they were hoping to see, and it gave me enough inspiration for me to add an additional scene, and that's how this ended up being the longest chapter in BCC so far at 67 pages total.

I spent a bit of time trying to create a new hideout for Anastasia, since she's not Mother Superior yet so it wouldn't make sense that she could just claim a basement for her personal use. However, I was struggling to think of where else the two of them could get enough privacy to practice magic. I was thinking maybe they could have a toolshed or something that's just covered with enough plant growth that everyone else just kind of forgot about it... but then I thought, why not just use that ...
