Dry brushing Star Destroyer

Having a blast dry brushing a massive Star Destroyer print for a video tomorrow.

Okay, these are now up on Aliexpress and I’ve ordered a handful of each to test out. No idea if they are legit or not. I did get confirmation from elegoo that their official nozzles should be up on Amazon anyday/week now.

Playing with the Elegoo Giga Orangestorm … sorta

I have a really fun video planned for tomorrow.

I modeled out a basic version of the Orangestorm Giga to actual size / scale and will be sharing files and showing how you can view it in your house / garage / office etc in Augmented Reality on your phones or even in Mixed Reality with the Quest 3

This will hopefully help people see just how big this printer is and where the heck they can potentially put it.

Neptune 4 Plus profile update

Heya folks! The Neptune 4 Plus orca profile should be available soon. I’m running this last big helmet print (yosh studios skull deadpool helmet) for the video later this week.

Right now the biggest issue I’m seeing with both profiles is stringing.

Unfortunately I only have 1 print head as my original on the Neptune 4 plus for crazy gunked up & isn’t salvageable even after heating. So I moved the n4 max head to the 4 plus so I could get printing.

Neptune 4 Plus / Max OrcaSlicer

Heya folks

Stupidly busy trying to get some videos prepped for the Neptune 4 Plus & 4 Max

Having some issues with my 4 Max / pretty sure it’s coming down to my print settings and still trying to dial things in for the beast of a machine.

But man oh man is my Neptune 4 Plus working great right off the bat.

I’m also playing around with Orcaslicer & more than likely going to be cutting over to it as my primary slicer. So stupidly easy...

Starfield obsessed! New video

Gave myself 24 hours to print finish shoot & edit a video on the Starfield EON blaster by 3DWorkbench (available on their patreon)

Easily was able to get this all printed & used a little rub n buff action on it.

Zero sanding / zero priming just a quick and dirty prop build. Something fun!

Maxed out Neptune 3 Print Update!

So I designed & printed a massive Escape KEY Stool 🤣😂

Just finished smoothing it out with resin + uv and letting it get a little sun bath

Video should be up Wednesday and will be releasing the file as well for those interested.

Already thinking I might print a smaller version on my Prusa XL & an even taller thinner option on the Max

Printing this with a .6 nozzle at .4 layer height

One minor seam issue so far. Not sure what causes that other than potentially the z rod/belts

Planning on sanding & painting so not concerned.

I am nervous about how much more it has to print & I might need to hook up a larger spool to it 😳

Finally got around to printing Repkords Reprack filament storage solution.

You 3D print brackets & 3d print wall cleats then use EMT 1/2” conduit pipes.

I used PETG for all of the parts printed across bambulab printer / Prusa mk4 & Neptune 4

Massive 4 day+ print

Just started a massive single part print on the Neptune 3 Max

Will share some more pics over the next few days! This should be a really fun & practical print that I managed to 3D model 🤣

Using a .6 nozzle & really thinking I should have went with a .8 or 1.0 nozzle but wanted to retain some of the clean layer line look with the smaller nozzle size. Guessing it might be 2-3 1kg rolls of PLA for this print that should come close to maxing out the Max

Wrapping up this Wolverine cowl/helmet build video for tomorrow or Monday!

My yellow is looking a bit more green 🤣🤦‍♂️ I probably should have put down a lighter layer before throwing down the yellow

But the side ears are looking decent. I used some green stuff for the first time which I should have sanded smoother along with some Flexseal rubber spray for the texture. I might do one more coat tonigjt to help try and further blend the ear seams.

Neptune 4 / 4 Pro Prusa Slicer Profiles

Heya folks. Going to be getting caught up on some profile updates this weekend.
