Firewood has a tendency to not be nice to her daughters. Typically this involves screaming matches, but sometimes it gets physical. Such fights are one-sided; even though she's clearly bigger and stronger, Babs isn't going to hit her mom.

Here's a treat for you Patreon folks: the first bit of concept art for the JG kirin species (headcanon and development by Liz, art by me!). The kirin are rare anthropomorphic quasi-equines sporting very little sexual dimorphism (though the real ones do have genitalia). They come in either a curly-haired or shaggy variety and have a number of different horn designs. According to Liz these very quiet creatures are found exclusively in Canterlot, and very few ponies ever see them....
