Today has been incredibly hard.
Yesterday, we had our old girl here at home, dealing her arthritis and a growth on her liver that was detected just a few months ago, but otherwise being her normal self; eating all her food, loving her walks through the neighborhood. Barking at every potential threat. Laying on my feet while I had my dinner in case there was even an atom of food she could claim.

Last week during a lesson, i stumbled into a SICK downwards pick slanting pattern in the minor pentatonic scale that you're going to LOVE! I've been using the crap out of this one since i figured it out, and i think you're going to get a lot of use out of it. I've gotten a bunch of requests from you all on how to implement and master hybrid picking, so here you go! This is a really fun etude to play in A minor that will help a ton. Its not TOO challenging, especially if you follow the technique tips and use the practice tracks down below! Its such a useful technique, you need it in your tech toolbox. Enjoy!

I'm on a quest to become a more better improviser, y'all. I've been spending time every day just jamming against tracks, and the other day i found this dude's channel. His tracks are super cool and fun to play against, but they also feature chord/scale changes onscreen as you play along, plus some theory talk! These could be a huge help to you all learning about scales and soloing, give them a shot and tell him i sent ya ;)
