From now on, the monthly raffle for custom graphics such as these I've just posted will be in the 5$ tier reward, and the 10$ reward will be 100% guaranteed monthly graphic (no raffle). So yeah, more graphics for everyone.

Here's the last piece of work done for the weapons in Hedon - the Acid Potion ammo type for the Potion Launcher. With this I pretty much conclude the armory, at least for the first episode (I obviously have more weapons planned for later).
I'm glad I've managed to implement all my ideas into Doom modding, and I'm fairly satisfied with how the weapons came out. I'm still open to tweaking and feedback of course.

Phew, finally finished Zan's side view. Two more (angled back and back) and I can start animating them. Very tedious work, but oh well, it will surely look better than if I'd take shots from a 3D model instead.
After this I'll have to do it for crouch and swimming positions T.T

I've got some good news and some great news.
Good news:
This (Patreon) month, the ones who pledge 5$ or more get a guaranteed custom sprite just like the one from the Warlock Tier reward. The guidelines are the same, and you can/should message me about it.
How it works: once I get the payment at the end of the Patreon month (sometime in January), I will start working on the sprites. This is obviously to avoid dipsy doo-ers.

I cringe every time I watch the video, because it reminds me of what big of a struggle imagining this weapon in 1st person was. BUT, I managed to pull it off nicely in the end, and that's what really counts. Enjoy~

Another thing I've been keeping myself busy with the last week was finishing all the inventory/usable items. As you can see, it's quite a bunch of stuff to use, and you'll be able to pick them all in the starting test hub of the new demo release.
I am waiting for feedback and testing them myself to get a better balance and good feel off them. I think the biggest challenge is getting the player to actually use them instead of stashing a heap in their inventory and never check them ou...

Yep. Hedon's been in development for 1 year now!
One year since the day I said "fuck it, I'm learning how to make video games and make my own video game" and the whole thing was set afoot.
I sure as hell learned a lot in this time, and there's still more to learn, but Hedon is making steady progress and sooner or later will become a fully fledged shooter.
