Lannister Family Portrait--Base sketch

After deliberating for a few days with @joannalannister and deciding which characters would be fun to have in the family portrait this is what I've come up with! These are all the children of Tytos Lannister with their spouses (except Darlessa Marbrand) and little Jaime and Cersei! 

I've currently got Tyg depicted as a lefthanded swordsman here....mostly for the aesthetic (I also wanted his character pose to be a little different from everyone else) but I don't know if he will stay...

Taking New Years off!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I won't be posting the illustration polls  for January until the 2nd of the month this time around because I'm going to be away all day tomorrow and on the first!

The Greens-lineart

I just wanted to post this because I rarely ever post the lineart stage. I have this technique where I completely block in the hair with black, and then later on while coloring I will clip a layer over the painted black hair w/ the character's correct hair color. It's always interesting to see the art at this stage because they all look so different w/ black hair! I thought Aegon looked like Dacre Montgomery earlier, and now he looks like Rami Malek portraying Freddie Mercury!!! It's hilariou...

Working on composition for my family portrait of the Greens and this is what I've come up with so far! I am thinking I'm going to put a large fireplace in the background but that may change later. Some poses might change too if I feel like they're too stiff, but I like the direction it's headed in.
