I had some time to sit down to work today and I was running into a lot of issues with my previous version of this illustration. The composition was not working for me at all, and I decided that trying to force it to work was not going to make the drawing any better. On top of a stressful week I felt even more stressed that I was unable to get this drawing finished sooner, and I wanted to make sure that the version I came up with was the best possible version I could present.

Still a work in progress but this is the closest thing I could come up with based on the suggestion that won! I came up with the idea that Dunk left his Kingsguard cloak with Rhaella, and sheltered her and Rhaegar with it. He is either holding his ribcage from an injury or from some extreme smoke inhalation. Still trying to get some things worked out in this sketch, but I think it's a promising start!

Guess who just finished reading the Last Wish?? I'm so glad I finally got the chance to doodle Geralt. (and so very happy that I've finally gotten into the Witcher, I've put it off far too long)
Working on the sketch for my illustration right now, but haven't quite figured out the right composition for it yet. Hopefully that goes smoother tomorrow!

Finished this morning and I'm very happy with the result! As I said in the sketch caption, Jon and Dany are around 22/23 here and I have no idea where it's set, because I didn't factor that much into the drawing. This is also the first full illustration I've done on my new tablet and I must say it was so much easier drawing a background directly on the screen!

So I was not expecting for this to start off so well but I'm impressed with where I'm taking it so far!!! One thing I cannot and will not fault the TV series for is manbun Jon. I think that was an excellent decision. And I wanted to give book-Jon that same manbun but a little disheveled.
I'm going to say this drawing is set in the future, around ages 23/22 for Jon and Dany. Dany's let her hair grow out a bit and Jon let his beard grow in! Don't ask where it's set bc I have no idea...

VERY belated sketch of this portrait reward that I have owed Rose by the Sea for a couple months now, who has been very patient with me. Her idea for Dior's look is that he has human ears like his father Beren, but has his mother Luthien's striking eyes and I have never imagined him that way but I love the idea that his otherness comes from his eyes (because I have always drawn Maia/Vala with glowing or unsettling eyes).

Finished this Baela study! I've been super busy so I haven't had the chance to play on my tablet much more than doodling this little piece. I am happy I decided to draw Baela though, I haven't had the chance to draw her with her burn scars (one day I'd like to be able to show more of those burn scars!) so this was really fun.

Doodled this little Baela for practice on my new Huion Kamvas Gt-221 Pro Tablet!!!! I was able to finally afford one thanks to all of you here on Patreon, I am so so so grateful! Hoping that I can finally move out of some of my comfort zones that I have been stuck in for a long time. I haven't had much time to play on it because it took a long time to set up but I am so excited to draw even more on it.

I figured since I was drawing Daemon B with this sword, why not do a full concept of both the front side and backside to use as reference for future drawings? This is partially inspired by the official design done by Velvet Engine for TWOIAF but I put my own twist on it. Mine looks a little flashy in comparison to the official design but I was so eager to give the pommel that extra dragon's head!
