This is taking a while... but been wanting to make a small Braixen animation since a long time and realized now it was a good chance with this project. Here is a preview of the progress, I plan on finishing this animation with a colored version plus there will be a still shaded illustration set as well!

I thought it wouldn't be fair to make just a drawing featuring Ruki alone (as in previous post). Her sister deserves a solo picture too.
This is an idea sketched today using the same semi-anthro style and that I plan on finishing eventually. Might change proportions, design or other things since is still very preliminar.

Patra just spotted something familiar on Klonoa's cap.
Bandai Namco characters fanart. This was the voted winner on the clean category of July's poll. I like this one with only flat colors because of the style, but maybe I will make a version with shadows and see how it looks.

00:00 – 01:20 = Shadow layer.
01:20 – 2:50 = Light layer.
Those two sections is the main part on this shading process (anime like 2D cell-shading). Just one shadow layer and a light layer, a lot more simpler than on others shading videos I've have done before where each part is shaded independently.
After that, the second and third thirds of the video is basically just refinements painting on top of that, which is the part taking most of the time.

Decided to divide it in two to make it easier to watch and to not bump speed even more.
This part is dedicated to the drawing. The second will be the painting.
As I've said before, I don't like to concentrate too much on a perfect lineart, since for my process I usually paint over the shaded drawing to refine things.
