Speed up of the shading process.
From 0:00 to 3:30 is the main shading, used just one shadow level to make the rendering look soft. The rest of the video (most of it) is just refinement and clean up, done by painting on top of the base drawing/shading.

Various persons have shown interest recently in learning more how I made anatomy.
Given this I decided to make this week an example of one simplified method I use for characters (with Paipo as our guest assistant).
Although the character in question here is semi-anthro, a very similar approach can be done with full-anthro and feral characters.
l will reuse this same drawing for more details on legs and arms.

From two years to now I've been adding grain texture to some of my paintings. Although I don't like it on all images is a nice touch sometimes and has either artistical or technical purposes. I will explain later when I like to use them and extra tips that can be done on the above process.
Oh, also this could be considered just one basic way to add texture I use or start with, there are a LOT of ways to apply texture to images and like others things its good to always keep experimenting...

I have an important announcement to make regarding this month, and the future.
I've been visiting an ophthalmologist these last days. The reason is I have a pretty small eye affection... is not very serious, but it needs to be addressed right away. By medical prescription I have to take a vacation by at least two weeks for treatment and to recover. Not doing so could cause a permanent problem in some cases.

I like making detailed hair, is very relaxing. So much I have to restrain myself not to make something too complex to match the rest of the overall body style lol. This is the hair technique and brush settings used with the Loona painting.
Process followed on the video (usually I just use a variation of this on others):
A preview and a announcement... I'm partnering with Cuddly Octopus to make a pair of dakimakura covers! =)
First one that will be ready is Waai Fu from Arknights. I will post more updates during the creation process and a small version and more info when is ready.
