Frenemies (semi-NSFW) – Steps Gif

It was an interesting process here, specially the Renamon solo versions since they were not even planned, but found a way to reuse the original pose for a standing version and the soaring idea lol.

Tbh I don't have idea why I used a green color as the coloring base at first. I wanted a cool night scene but later changed to a warm sunset palette idea.

Hands Tips 01 – Art Journal

Often I heard hands are the most difficult things when people start drawing. This is because they have a lot of little shapes, each one with his own construction. I often find myself just abstracting hands in just two planes when sketching a concept and not paying attention to small details or shapes. From there I can add complexity on the later levels if the drawing is going to be developed further.

Secretary – Step process (Gif)

Process for the image with a workflow alternating between Photoshop and SAI.

Not much to say about composition except I wanted a wave–like flow like in the first frame showing the initial gesture. Also I used the chair to help balance the overall composition, with the character's head on one side (facing inward) and the chair on the other side of the image.

I use three calibrated monitors, but even like that there are minor variations in color that I correct at the end on my mai...
