Zoe (Painting process)

I saw this character for the first time many years ago, but since then I have always wanted to draw her.

I chose to make her in a cell soft–shaded style since is more close to her original look and the original artist style.

More than anything the most difficult thing here was the color, there were various corrections and tests in this regard during the process, red (specially this bright) and black resulted a hard combination to balance in this picture.

Style influences - Artists (or so I think)

I was making the influence map meme just for fun…  but while I was at it remembered that from time to time bad habits can stagnate you and its always a good thing to stop and reflect on how other people have influenced or still influence your work to help you detect where you are stuck. So I dug a little more in my brain to discover all the main artists that have inspired me at some point (and still do it).

This one was only for artists though.
