We're going to hit up Miracle Matter from Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, as well as the Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam final boss (phase 2) theme of Shiny RoboBowser to close out the year!
The M&L: Paper Jam final boss theme has been one of the most requested M&L themes for quite some time and will close out the year. Miracle Matter is a bit of an extra bonus, I was considering doing something like Mistilteinn, but just didn't have the time to get to a song that complex alongside everything else. So instead, I've opted for something I could get done in time that's also been requested quite a bit.

Attached to this post is a preview of the next song up, the one you all voted for in our first ever Winter Special Poll, Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime. I should be finished with this one tomorrow with the video ready and up just in time for the first day of winter on Saturday the 21st. This will be followed up by The Fog early next week.
I had previously planned to finish up Wondertart this month as well, but as I'm still working on our big finale for the year, I've decided to move it back a little bit to early January, right after the already revealed 2025 Premiere What I'm Made Of.
As for the mystery of what the finale will be, I'll be revealing it next Thursday, Dec. 26th!

The first video of the month is up: the most recent GaMetal Discord Request Battle winner, Necrofantasia from Touhou Youyoumu ~ Perfect Cherry Blossom!
For this arrangement I went all the way and covered the Magical Astronomy version, it adds a bunch of new sections (while keeping the instrumentation generally the same).

Phendrana Drifts from Metroid Prime! The four songs featured were all very strong, but Phendrana managed to stay on top the entire duration of the poll, with Scott Pilgrim's Another Winter trying to catch up in second place throughout. But it looks like Scott Pilgrim will have to wait... another winter.
The first day of winter is December 21st, so I'll be shooting to have this one ready to go and up around that time.

Hey Patrons! Here's a recap of today's stream for those who missed it.

ζ΅ε° -tekitAI- from AI: The Somnium Files, from the list of SpiralViper! We've heard this one on a couple of listening streams, and it's been on a few different Patron lists over time, so this will surely be a good one for the VN fans out there.
Alright, I mentioned in the last couple of posts that I may or may not reveal the handpick today depending on what was pulled during the stream. I don't see -tekitAI- happening till January or February at the latest, so I feel like I can go ahead and reveal it.
This song will be the 2025 PREMIERE:
What I'm Made Of from Sonic Heroes, the #3 song from the 2024 ballot, will be opening up 2025! This song is on several Patron request lists as well (Account #4, Erron Siles, Ligma Dragoon, Makemi Crescent Rozie, and WALRUS!), so I know it will be a very strong song for the premiere spot.

First off, a big thank you to anyone who had previously initiated their Patreon payments using the iOS app and switched to a different form of payment. We discussed this a bit over the last few months, but the changes actually went into effect last month. I chose to cover the 30% up charge and didn't know how much it would really effect things, but it appears to have had little to no effect on my Patreon income. Awesome!
2025 is going to be a year of big things and restructuring as we prepare for Patreon's removal of the pay-per-creation format in November 2025. We'll talk about that more over the next few months.
For now, lets focus on the end of the year! Here's a quick look at the to-do list:

Ok ok, I know it might seem like a lot, but assuming all goes according to plan, half of this will be gone by the end of the month. I went ahead and threw in placeholders for the Winter Special (gonna go ahead and make this official) as well as the 2024 Finale and 2025 Premiere.
Necrofantasia will be next up (preview within the next couple of days), I might be following this one up with The Fog then Baking the Wondertart. Either way, I have both of those songs slated for this month.
I have some great songs lined up for the Finale/Premiere spots, but I am waiting to see what gets chosen in today's Patreon Stream before I make any official confirmations or reveals. I may also hold off on the handpicked PRL choice reveal for the month until a little bit later, dependent on today's result.
As for the Winter Special, this is something I started doing in 2020 but have said every year that I "would only do if I have the time". The concept seems to have grown on the community over the years to the point where I've had many people asking about it, so I believe we can go ahead and make it an official thing.
I've previously chosen the winter songs completely on my own (sometimes with Patreon Discord channel recommendations like Northeast Frost Street), but this year I'm going to turn to the community for suggestions.
I've created a form here where you can submit up to two Winter Special suggestions. I'll also be sharing this form with the GaMetal Discord community. As such, I've turned off the viewable results summary (people can get a little wild with changes sometimes when they can see the results lol), however I do have response editing on in case you want to change later.
If a particular song soars above the rest, that will most likely be the song I choose. If it's close enough between multiple songs at the top, we'll decide the victor here in a Patreon Poll.
The form will close at the end of the weekend on Sunday Dec. 8th. I will post either the winner or a poll here after.
And lastly, our monthly stream will take place at our usual date and time today (Dec. 5th), starting around 4:00 PM US Eastern Time (approximately 3 hours from this post).

Thanksgiving is coming up, and I'm going to be occupied for the last few days of the month spending time with family.
I still need a bit more time on the next songs I had planned, Necrofantasia and Baking the Wondertart (they're pretty tough lol π ), as well as those potential collab songs. However, I didn't want to have another 3 song month in November.
So over the weekend, I took a look at the Patreon Request List, and started working on 2 songs that I felt I could put together in a small amount of time:
Lightning from F-Zero GP Legend / Climax and Blaze Heatnix from Mega Man X6 will both be dropping as bonus songs at the end of the month!
These two will be followed by the previously planned Necrofantasia and Baking the Wondertart. The final songs of the year will be decided on and revealed early in December as well.
