A final Window into my world.

I am sharing this to show people a part of the effort I have put into creating World Difficulty. I have worked tirelessly for 2 years. This photo is showing roughly 30% of assets I have created to build what we're up to now. The most astute of you, will notice the file sizes on some of the archives. Every single file for Dragon's Dogma (as you more savvy mod users will already know) has to be edited by hand.

Crashes

They're driving me NUTS! I'm still working on it. I'm so sorry for the delay I am about to throw my PC at a wall.

Just a short update. Please take this as jest, I wanted to make you all smile and also let you know I'm working on the crash still. I might be hitting a memory problem, but I'm doubting it. 

Version update progress:

Progress was stalled for awhile due to the hurricane, the birth my Sheryl's child a month early and the fact he requires constant care. At 3 weeks old, he's not yet 6lbs.

We're splitting shifts with him so there is an adult awake 24 hours a day.

He currently only has the strength to wake up to eat and to keep himself warm. He goes to the pediatrician every week until he's strong enough to stay awake. Until that time, he'll require constant care.

Since I've been helping with the newborn I've been forced away more than I would like to be, I am also doing everything I can to raise money outside of my current projects to help cover the rent here.

Hurricane is past us.

This will be short, we endured the hurricane. So many other people near us weren't so lucky. Please keep the people here in your thoughts, or if you're inclined in your prayers.

Storm update

I don't have a lot of time. Power is in and out. Tornados are everywhere, the town has flooded.

Out home is safe and dry, the surge canals are working and they've diverted a local catastrophe. The city to the north, (and MANY to the south) wasn't as lucky.

Still being pounded by local tornados at least for the next 6 hours.

Not sure when the power will drop again, so while I had it I wanted to let everyone know we're ok.

Disaster

We are directly in the path of the major hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean. Florence.

We're on the Eastern Coast. We're under evacuation, and we'll be leaving Wednesday morning. There is a possibility my friends home, where we both reside will be damaged or completely destroyed. 

I don't know when I'll have an internet connection to even update this. I just don't want my supporters to feel I am ignoring them.

Virus

There has been a file post delay due to a virus on my PC. I have files to post, but I decided to start from scratch (I saved the data) because I wanted to make absolutely sure there was no chance to infect anyone else.

I stopped the virus, I deleted all the files on my storage drives, and used recorded information to recreate my assets from fresh game files downloaded from Steam.

I'm sorry for this delay, but I couldn't risk spreading it.

World Difficulty 2.0 Official Launch

The level 100 + version of World Difficulty has official launched. You can find the links in the mods section of the discord server.

This is not yet posted to the Nexus, I am undecided if I will post it there or not. I don't want the comments mixed between two separate versions.

BBI Progress

All sanity checks have just been bypassed. This means I can go into directly formatting all the content I intend to create. This is just a small update.

Hospital. Repeat trips.

Unfortunately, I've had to go to the hospital a few times in the past few days. I've developed a rather persistent infection. My work has slowed as a result. I'm going to try to have something for you all this weekend. It will only be an alpha patch, but it will be new content for you; Albeit only a small amount.

I'm in an incredible amount of pain, but that won't stop me from attempting to provide you all value for money.

Oh, and I intend to bring "World Difficulty by Lefein" to Monster...

World Difficulty 2.0 Update Patch

Install this patch after installing World Difficulty by Lefein, and the 2.0 Alpha.

This is the first of several patches that will more your 2.0 install ALPHA into the 2.0 BETA.

An extra gift to my supporters that will accompany the BBI update

My patons will get something extra special in the next version update no one else will get. I am currently redrafting the Everfall. This overhaul will add another tier of endgame content to DD:DA.

Once BBI has been completed, with this installed you will find one final challenge awaiting you.

Discord

All Patronage rewards will now all be permanently posted in a private Discord channel.

I was struggling with getting the files out to people until I realized I could use Discord, and the Discord Patreon Bot to lead people right to their rewards.

World Difficulty and it's Alpha builds, Beta builds, Patron only Builds, Cosmetic Updates and everything Mod related used as part of the reward system will now be found in the #Patron channel.

Early Alpha Build of WD 2.0 Created for a friend and patron

I'm posting this link here, to share a very early build of WD created for a friend who has out grown the original WD by Lefein.

This is a very early alpha build, there may be bugs but crashes should not happen. It should be mostly stable, and feedback on these files is most welcome.

I wish I could have gotten more done, but I am not feeling well. The final build and release is still some weeks away. If there are no major issues, there will be more builds just like this one pos...

I had a bit of a PC malfunction. It dismantled itself because it wanted attention.

I am diligently working with all my free time to get this wreck into one functional PC.

I managed to get some of these parts together to make a PC, but it's suffering constant Bluescreens. I should have everything reassembled and repaired tomorrow. (With the actual good parts hidden amongst this debris)

My life, and a new Companion Module

The World Difficulty Companion Module was updated today with minor fixes and changes.

The original intent with the Companion Module was to change the use and functionality of certain tools and curatives to better fix the much different game playstyle.

World Difficulty 2.0 clarification

Just to assure this is explained, when installing World Difficulty 2.0 no matter what point in the game you are - it will balance your game and the entire world to around level 150.

I called it "New Game Plus" - because a new adopter should install it after New Game Plus begins.

I'm sorry if it got confusing for anyone. People seldom interact with the posts so I never know who is reading them :D

World Difficulty 3.0

World Difficulty 2.0 has had it's prelaunch posted to Reddit.

Borderlands 2 and TPS
