Still have another GM in the works that I owe for September, but I am itching to get working on the Grav tanks files, so Im gonna pound on that for a while.

September catch up

Here's a GM.  
Grand Magus Veruth Mardak, Master of the Silver Wardens 2nd Brotherhood.  

Working supports tonight and in the morning.  Ill have him tomorrow, then Ill be working hard on the sorcerer for the dust beetle unit.

Thanks for hanging in with me folks, Ill be caught up shortly and then we'll finish the  big grav tank.  I should have plenty of time for the Sorcerer kit after that.

Sorry folks Ive just realized thanks to one of you, that I forgot the shoulder pads for the Scarabs...
Jebus Christmas, Ive mucked this up!  forgot the heads, forgot the weapons, forgot the pads....

man I'd forget my head if it wasnt attached.

And double crap I didnt even do supports for the pads yet.

Im working on it now...  ugh

I like this Heavy flamer

So im pushing tomorrow for completion of the base scarab units.  I didnt get far enough with them so their sorcerer will push to next month - I will use the sorcerer as a jumping off point for a sorcerer kit (exalted, aspiring, disc rider etc) for next month as well.

As or the GM's - I am hoping I will get the first one out with the Scarabs tomorrow... probably late. And will get another one out with the other late work nxt month.

Sorry folks I dropped the ball on this mont...

"So whats on tap for September?" ...  I hear you all collectively asking....

Silver Wardens will get at least 2 more GM remixes.
Maybe a new head or weapon as time allows
also -Illl be starting on a certain raiding style tank.  I want this thing to be awesome, so it will be a multi-month project, but definitely starting it up.

1KHijos will get a shiny new kit - Beetle termies (cooler name to be determined-Ill gladly take suggestions below)

2 handed melee build guide

Quick note to all the Nemestrike builders out there.

the arm pairs for the two 2 handed positions are marked as in the photo above - 2H1 and 2H2

the weapons themselves are labelled "...position1" or "...position 2

and you can see examples of the models above as well.

As well, any of the arms in the whole file are mirror-able if you like.  For instance if you wanted right handed marines for variety. or whatever!

Throw away these hammers

Found a gap in the handle of these 4 hammers.....

LH Hammer 1
RH Hammer 2
2 Hand Hammer position 1
2 Hand Hammer position 2

I have fixed them and am getting them resupported, but make sure to throw these out so you dont get them accidentally mixed in when I hand out the new ones

I did forget to add the power pack to the Nemestrike links..  it has been added.  If you've already DL'd it you should just be able to go back in and get the packs.

Almost there

Went a little overboard with leg poses...  thats 8 poses and 5 will have tabards... so 13 total, enough to last a lifetime

looks like supports are gonna take me a little longer, maybe tomorrow , but no later than thursday

Definitely feeling good about this direction!!

So much more movement in the waist now with the move of the connection above the belt...  loving it.  tryinta knock out al the leg poses today! Arm poses tomorrow, think Ill be adding some decor to the top of the gauntlets, looks a bit bare there.

the tach rocks will be provided but not pinned for specific poses.  That way you can use them as you see fit.

How you all feel about this so far?

The vets here may quickly realize this is a remix, but man, he looks good!

Quick rundown

of the changes I am making... (so far)

much like the Exterminatus kit reboot, once I got into the weeds I am changing much more than I planned. But I hope they will all make the kit better, easier to build and more dynamic.

Might have gone a little overboard

But I wanted to get all the different silver Wardens Brotherhoods represented in shoulder pad form - both traditional and tiered versions.

These will be sized to fit Exterminatus and Nemestrikes

I think Im pretty much done forever with SW shoulder pads lol!!

Jeeeez this year is flying by!

I'd like to welcome all the newcomers.  We've had a big influx due to the rad video by Once in a Six Side (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-faLbFtb0EA if you haven't seen it yet you should!)

So my plan for August is definitely a re-tool of the Nemestrikes... 

1) improve add some more poses

2) do something to improve how the arms go together
