Wanted to share something a little different and show you guys a bit of what goes in behind the scenes when I'm creating.

I've lacked a bit of a creative spark recently so I thought I'd challenge myself and make something out of my comfort zone, so I got familiar with photoshop again and created a few custom texture maps for this title belt I had laying around.

I figure having something to smack leather into eachother for adds a nice dynamic. :)

New techniques!

I spent a couple hours thismorning going over a few things with AFCombat and with their help, played around with rendering techniques and came out with something I'm happy with.

I think these renders, even in a lower res, look higher quality and get finer details than before. Let me know what you think! I'm planning a whole match in this style as it stands.
